I bought this Stanley thermos so my son could have hot lunches at school, since they don’t have microwaves and it works so well! Purchased this early November so the hubby could have warm meals at work. He has been very happy that it stays hot! I do preheat the Stanley with hot (nearly boiling) water for 5 minutes before putting in his meal, totally helps. One day he left it at work so I bought a different one (Yeti) thinking it would work just as fine, I was wrong. He said it's was barely warm. Just goes to prove this little guy is worth it. And the added utensil on the side is a bonus.

When I had this it kept my food nice and hot for the whole day, it was hard for me to open at times (but again I’m a weak person lol), i unfortunately don’t have this anymore because someone stole it from me when I wasn’t looking.

Good quality worth it

This food jar is the best purchase. Heat your food before putting it in the Stanley, and it stays hot darned near all day. My hubs takes it out hunting in the cold weather. I wrap it in a kitchen towel for extra warmth and he says his lunch warms his soul. Added HD spork is perfect for stews and beans n ham. The "cracker carrier" lid is a nice touch. Doesn't hold more than 4, but it keeps them sealed so they don't get soggy.

I don’t like microwaves but I like hot food for lunch when at work. I use it to keep my lunch warm. I warm my food in the morning and put it in the thermal jug; it is still just as warm, sometimes hot as it was when first prepared. I too like the fact that it has a spork that fits on the side so that I am never without a spoon or fork to eat with and it holds more than enough to fill me up but small enough to fit in my smaller to average size lunch box. Love it!

Keeps food hot, just remember to preheat with boiling water prop to putting food in and then it works wonderfully

I have been wanting to get a proper food jar to keep my lunch (if it's soup) or breakfast (if it's porridge) hot as I am always pushed for time in the morning so do this the night before. I am very pleased with the results and it means that I don't have to spend lots of money in Pret or Eat on food that I don't really want! Slightly more expensive than other small flasks or food jars, but it does actually work, so that is worth the money in my view. I might even get another one :)
