Works as designed. But my fan is controlled by the thermostat. So when this device has the compressor off, the fan will come on without the compressor, blowing warm air. I had to wire the fan relay to the compressor relay so the fan goes off too. Disconnected the fan wire to the thermostat so I can no longer turn on just the fan from the thermostat.

This item was installed on an a/c packaged unit to keep the compressor off in the event of a power surge/outage for five minutes to allow the pressure to equalize before a/c start up. It protects the a/c compressor. The title is incorrect about fixed timing, it is adjustable.

Fixed my AC
AC wasn't working in my House, didn't have the time or money to call a technician, so after a little research and testing for myself I concluded this was the issue. Glad I was Right, more glad that it worked.
