Evelyn Mid Century Modern Fabric Arm Chair, Beige & Walnut (305538

Better than expected. Easy to assemble and very sturdy. The fabric is great, they are comfortable and look more expensive than they are. Quality seems great too. I have noticed that the fabric sometimes gets an imprint from things. Like if you sit on it with your car keys in your back pocket, you can see an imprint on the fabric, but I think it is because the fabric is linen like. I’ve only had them for a couple of weeks, so I can’t speak about the cleaning or durability, but so far I’m very pleased. The only con I have is the small label on one of the legs ( I think it said made in China), it leaves a discoloration on the wood color once removed.

We bought two. These are nice, well made chairs. They are very good for the price, which is what we wanted. The styling is perfect for our room (mid-century). The fabric is comfortable. They look nice sitting next to each other, or apart as accent chairs. They are easy to assemble, were packed well, and seem sturdy. The size is perfect, not too large, which was also what we wanted. The legs have the hard plastic inserts on the bottom to protect our wood floors. The seat is constructed well, and it looks like it will last for years.

UPDATE TO MY ORIGINAL REVIEW: I never heard from either Amazon nor the seller of these Christopher Knight MCM style chairs regarding an adjustment or refund for the extra money I paid to have them delivered and actually moved inside my house (on the date they specified) instead of just leaving them on my porch. I mentioned this in the my original review (see below). I guess I'll just have to write that off. I'm still glad to have ordered these and they look nice. ====================================== ORIGINAL REVIEW: This is the first time I've ordered furniture online based on just the photos, but taking into consideration many customer reviews for these chairs as well as other chairs s of similar style and color, I decided to take a chance. I shopped several brick and mortar stores as well, and other websites with similar "MCM styles" and these chairs were exactly the look and vibe I was looking for. I really like them and the assembly instructions were easy to follow. Once I had the first one assembled, the 2nd one was a breeze. Because the beige is a light color, I did place a blanket on the floor to keep them clean. They are very comfortable even if they are more firm than other chairs which I was able to physically test in stores, but the pricing was so much better and they look amazing in my space! Personally, I prefer the firmer feel to one that is too squishy. I also purchased the 5-year indoor furniture accident plan for them (This again was because it's my first time buying furniture online.) NOW THE REASON FOR THE THE GOOD NEWS/BAD NEWS: I'm very impressed with how fast these chairs were delivered, however right now, I'm only giving 4-stars because I also paid extra money to have them delivered to and brought into my house to any room I requested. My Amazon confirmation and tracking information told me they would be delivered Monday,10/18/2021, which was fine and that's what I planned for, however they were actually delivered FRIDAY, 10/15/2021. Because I had expected them 3 days later, I wasn't available when they actually arrived, so they were both dropped off on my front porch. Fortunately, the boxes were not too heavy I was able to move each of them into my living room by myself. For this reason, I'm not giving 4 stars, but would update and upgrade my review if Amazon or the seller credits back the additional special fee to my account. I will update this review in the future, if this happens. But I have to say, after just a couple of days admiring them in my living room, I am very pleased that I took a chance and would consider ordering from this vendor through Amazon again in the future.

Very nice chair. Well made. Easy to put together. Looks and sits nice!

I bought several other brand chairs and returned all of them. But this one was a winner! I bought the linen colored chair for my bedroom. The size and color were spot-on! Most importantly it’s solid, easy to put together and very comfortable for its style! I use it to watch TV, read and work in, and after sitting in it for several hours at a time, I can easily say it’s perfect! I have had this one for three months and we are looking to buy a second! I hope this helps someone, you won’t regret it!

The good about this chair is that it's nice looking & will add a classy and modern touch to any room you decide to put it in. However, the bad, I must say, this is NOT a chair that should be used to sit in regularly. It's simply hard and not comfortable. What makes it worse for me is that the armrests are incredibly hard. Like seriously hard. There is almost no padding on the top of the armrests. As a matter of fact, I've had the chair for only 3 days, and the little padding that was on top of the armrests is now gone. AFTER 3 DAYS. I am super bummed because I could have purchased a used chair on CL for maybe $100, and it would have been much more comfortable, but then I would have had to have it cleaned, etc. So, I just went ahead and took a chance on this chair. So, if you have money and want to buy a modern-looking chair/s to add a classy look to a room but don't plan on using them daily, then, by all means, this is a perfect chair. However, if you plan on using this chair for a main chair, I suggest keeping looking. I am a single guy who basically left all my furniture for my ex to keep and am having to buy all new stuff. Well, now, after purchasing this and sitting in it for only 3 days, I am going to my storage to get my reclining lawn chair. Lol. Seriously.

Loved every thing about this chair. The materials are great quality. The look is expensive The size and comfort are 100%perfect. I bought mid century modern barstools from this company and was so happy with the quality that I looked them up for some chairs for my setting area in my master bedroom. I was so pleased again with the craftsmanship and quality that I will be buying a second chair to fill the space. It’s a real challenge to find quality products at an affordable price that you are proud to display in your home. This is your place to purchase worry free. I just can’t say enough about this companies products the put out. Please give them a try you won’t be disappointed. I love finding and sharing company like this one.
