Opteka .5X Wide Angle & 2X Telephoto HD2 Pro Lens Set for Olympus SP-350 SP-310 Digital Camera

If your expectations are not too high you will like this item. The best part is the telephoto lens. I did a test in Photoshop and determined that the telephoto lens gives you almost 150% of the normal image. The resolution is not quite as sharp as the camera lens, but quite adequate for posting to web pages (which is what I do) or printing out on your home printer. I would not recommend the lens for high res print work but then if you were doing that you would be buying more expensive equipment to start with. I took the lens to Alaska and crossed my fingers as I didn't have time to test it out beforehand. With the combination of the 8.0 pixel camera and this lens I was able to get some pretty good wildlife shots by the time I tweaked the images in Photoshop.I have not had the need to use the wide angle lens as much. It does create dark shadows at the edges but I get around this with the clone stamp in good old Photoshop so for me it's not a problem.The little tripod is cute and useful. And the cleaning materials are useful too. I thought this was a fair deal for $30, but I wouldn't pay more.

Fits my camera very nicely. I noticed the shadows in the corner of the wide angle lens, but when I adjust the camera for wide angle the shadows seem to disappear, at least on the camera screen. Haven't had a chance to print out any images yet. Lenses each come in nice vinyl pouches, wish the adapter also had a pouch, but I can easily stitch one up for it. Nice lens care kit and cute tripod. Everything fits snugly into my camera bag.

I got this to go with my Olympus SP-350 camera. The adapter was the incorrect adapter and the seller replaced that for me which took over a week to arrive. More important, the telephoto lens creates a circle effect where the 4 corners of the photo are black. It is like what you see in an old movie when someone is looking through an old-timey telescope. The wide angle is really good however, and the the price and quality of construction of very good.

the wide angle creates a small amount of distortion at the outside edges.

I am very happy with this product.It is reasonably priced and it fits perfectly well on my Olympus compact camera. The workmanship and quality is a good bargain for the price.I have used this extensively to make 360 degree panoramic as well as abstract picture.
