Usually out of the country 2 or 3 times a year. Lonely planet has been my go to books for travel for years. Always happy with their insights and recommendations.

This book gave a TON of info - I kind of wish you could get it just for one or two countries since I only needed about 10 pages of it! But for what I needed, it was great!

A distribuição de conteúdos pelos diversos países da região é totalmente alucinada. A Arábia Saudita tem meia dúzia da páginas, enquanto países pouco maiores do que uma cidade têm dezenas de páginas. Muito desiquibrado, isso é perturbador para quem vai andar pela região.

I know this series very well as I have used countless guidebooks. This particular guide book on the Arabian Peninsula made places seem much more extraordinary than they actually are. As a result, the end experience was most often disappointing.

Lonely Planet books are always informative with relevant information to wherever you are travelling. I purchased this book as a gift and also received one as a gift! I particularly love the addition of local maps and routes for driving. Lonely Planet usually has blurbs about customs, history and possible dangers in the regions you are travelling. Unfortunately our trip to Oman has been delayed due to recent events, but I continue to read through the book and imagine a trip in the future where we can see more places that are in the book as well.
