I can only assume that you are reading this review to help decide if this is the right mattress for you. So I will be as objective and honest as I can be. My height is 6’ and weight 235 lbs. which is pretty evenly distributed, the wife is getting a little rounder at 5’-2” (weight is classified). We purchased this because of the price. Over time it seems it doesn’t really matter how much we spend on a mattress, it will ultimately sag and without the ability to actually flip many of them, it can happen sooner. Yes our king size was heavy when it arrived but no heavier than any other and not as heavy as some. We followed the instructions and let the mattress inflate and breathe overnight. There were no strong odd smells other than an odor one would expect from a factory product. We started with the softer side up and used a 4 inch dual layer mattress topper. After 10 days we found it to be too soft and flipped to the firm side. This proved to be better with the topper and after a few days of testing we agree that we are able to sleep comfortably. The medium side is soft medium. With the topper is was too soft for me. Even without the topper it was a little softer than I wanted but I could use it. Which is useful when it comes time to flip the mattress – note that it can be flipped and rotated which is a really good thing to prolong the life of it. The firm side is firm but I would say medium in the firm range, not like sleeping on a park bench. It does conform to your body. The topper helps to hug you a little bit more but still provide some firmness. Without the topper it would be too firm on some of my pressure points. So in conclusion, at $499 I think it is a fantastic deal and definitely a good product. Even it does not last for the next 5 years, at that price it’s better than the $1800 mattress that I’m replacing after 5 years. So if you want a medium to firm mattress, I think this will do it. If this is for a guest room it is a really good price point. Remember if it is too firm you can always use a foam, or other topper to soften it. You can soften a hard mattress but you can’t harden a soft one. Good Luck

This bed has helped me to know longer suffer from back aches! Whenever we go anywhere, even to the grandest hotels, I want to be back in this bed at home because it is so comfortable! I am so grateful we found it! My husband and I searched and tried so many beds from the Purple bed to the Sleep Number beds and thought we had nothing to lose to try this bed with their buy it or recycle\donate it money back guarantee. It is priced so well too! I will be buying Nest Bedding from now on.

I am actually pretty happy with my purchase overall, it's a comfortable mattress and I really like the two sided feature. I purchased the king size, it is very competitive on price compared to what I saw on the market so all in all I think the value is definitely good. When the package got delivered it was in quite a large box, which seemed to be about 4 1/2 feet tall. Unfortunately, the box weighed like 90 pounds and it was a little hard to lug up the stairs. I guess I can't complain too much about that part though, but be prepared to have a little help moving it around. All in all its a great purchase, if it wasn't a pain to move it around I would have given it 5 stars.

I was afraid this matter was going to be too firm but it was perfect. I am mainly a back sleeper due to a deviated septum and it is perfect for me on the soft side. I do notice a bit of stiffness in my back/shoulders when I sleep on my side, so side sleepers may been something softer. I recommend having 2 people available to set up the king size since the matters is quite heavy and hard to maneuver once decompressed. I paired this matter with some L.L. Bean percale sheets and an Allrange down comforter which makes me long to get into bed at night. I almost can't believe what an amazing deal this was. I searched for a few weeks, reading reviews non-stop. For reference, I was looking for a King Mattress in a box, specifically a hybrid, and was hoping to spend under $600 on the mattress. For a while there, I was a little worried that I wouldn't be able to find what I was looking for. I read so many horrible reviews about other brands (you know which ones they are if you are in the market for a bed in a box at this price range). Between bed bugs, chemical smells, mattresses that were taken out of the box and left for days to fully "inflate" and never did, etc. I was looking for something medium to medium firm, and this Nest mattress takes the prize!! It can be flipped over which in itself is unheard of at this price point. Setup was a breeze, it was fully inflated in a matter of 10 minutes with absolutely no weird chemical smell. We decided to use the Firm side first, but both sides are extremely comfortable (Medium/Firm but with enough give). I will 100% purchase again from Nest when the need arises. I highly recommend this mattress to anyone who reads this, you will not regret it!

This is wonderful bed and an unbelievable value. I like medium firm side which has a nice pillow top. The firm side is pretty firm and would be good for exclusive back sleepers. I purchased the king size and you should plan having help setting it up out of the box.
