Folding Table

For Christmas, I asked my husband for a “bedside” table for camping. He got me this one and it’s great. I camp with my son’s scout troop about 8 times a year. This includes a week long summer camp and 4 day winter camp. I have been using my chair as a makeshift table for my phone and watch at night, but I really wanted a table. I wanted something that would be lightweight, fold down fairly small, and sturdy. This table fit the bill perfectly. It’s easy to carry with to my chair. It’s small enough that it doesn’t get in the way when I share a tent with other leaders. It’s big enough to hold my daypack, chargers, flashlight, and phone and watch. It is very sturdy for my needs. I’ll probably always have less than 20 lbs on but I have no doubt it could hold more. This is the perfect bedside table for Scout camp. You could put one next to every bed in the tent and you’ll still have plenty of space.

I have never used this outdoors, but it suits my needs: as a table I can fold up and store out of the way easily, and quickly, which is big enough to hold a larger laptop, beverage, and maybe some small notes. The slatted top is mildly annoying when trying to write but the slats are wide enough that it isn't a major problem. It takes perhaps 20-30 seconds to figure out how to fold and unfold it quickly, but it's not super tough. Once you figure that out, there really isn't much else to learn. No real effort is required, although it's fairly tough to do with just one hand due to the mechanics of it. I like to fold this table behind the door in the bathroom so if I need to camp out for a bit, but still get some work done, I can do so. No one notices it's there, and it folds small enough that it doesn't even interfere with the door opening all the way to the protective bumper. I suspect that for outdoor use, its semi-rigid legs might make setup on an uneven surface difficult. However, that is a problem with nearly all outdoor or camping furniture, I'd imagine. On a flat surface, absolutely no quality issues in the 2 I've purchased and used for a long time: stable, no balance issues, no loose parts, no issues at all. FYI you cannot scoot under it, due to the legs, but I am able to comfortably work off of it regardless. You just can't slide your legs under and recline into a work position easily.

This has sort of a cheap feel to it but works very well. Lite and sturdy and is small enough to put in my camper. Love it.

They’re perfect super lightweight easy to store

I wanted a sturdy, lightweight table for use with the folding chairs I bought for our RV. I was surprised at how sturdy it is and it has performed really well after several uses. It works perfectly for meals and drinks, my coffee cup didn't slide around at all. It opens and extends very easily and feels durable enough to last for a long time to come. I also really like the height of the table when fully extended. I would say it seems to be the perfect height for most standard size folding chairs and the table area is adequate for two people's plate and drinks for a meal. When it's folded up and the legs are fully retracted, it stores very nicely and is compact. I was able to fit it in a pretty small storage compartment underneath my RV. If I had to criticize it in some way, I would say that it doesn't feel strong enough to support a heavy load. For my personal use I can't imagine needing to use it for anything heavy but if you're intending to put say, a fully loaded cooler or something on top of it (which I didn't try) it may not support that kind of weight well. For general purposes and regular use though (meals, drinks, s'mores etc.), I'd highly recommend this table and am very pleased with my purchase.

The charcoal-black table top and bright aluminum legs look nice and are formed of sturdy metal materials. Compactness - The design of the table - with it's telescoping legs - allows it to be folded up into a compact unit - for ease of storage. Sturdiness - Table has a solid feel - wide leg positions prevent "rocking" on level surfaces that is. Buyers should carefully consider a few items: Size: Consider the dimensions of the item for it's intended use - is it too big or too small or "just right". The table comes in two sizes. Table top dimensions approximately: large 24" x 24" small: 18" x 20" Materials: It made of metal - strong but subject to damage if way over loaded - just a consideration for intended use. Storage: Prudence tells me anything metal should not be stored outdoors or in a damp location - without a plastic cover at least - always listen to Prudence. My conclusion: If you have a need for a folding table I can recommend this item without reservation. In fact this is my second purchase of this item. Both are the "small" size and the more I use these items I to want to purchase one of the "large" size tables.

What a great little table. Easy up and easy down as they say. Very sturdy when it folded open. I highly recommend and would buy another one in a minute. Great design and compact as well. Perfect for my pop up picnics or bbq's
