Good hatching rate with fertilised eggs. 19 duck eggs went in. 10 live ducklings made it. 6 eggs were probably unfertilised. Candles out 3. 3 more were cloudy at the end. Do not open the lid after lockdown to avoid ducklings/chicks getting shrink wrapped and dying. No option for duck egg turner plate. The eggs were bigger than the slots so had to be manually turned in the slots. Some of the ducklings got stuck to one side of the wall. Let all the ducklings/chicks hatch out for a couple of days before opening the lid to move them. Once opened make sure the rest don’t get shrink wrapped and die. I got 10 live ducklings, (9 Aylesbury and 1 Muscovy) both with different incubation times (28 for Aylesbury and the rest went into a second lockdown before the 35th day hatch out). 2 further ducklings got shrink wrapped and died. One died probably on the 20th day or so. I had to help out the Muscovy as it was getting exhausted after pecking for 3 days. The second pipped Muscovy egg did not make it. The 10th Aylesbury pipped egg did not make it either. But satisfied with the overall product. Hatches the outer eggs as well as inner eggs in the turning plate.

Good instructions, easy to see into and simple to use. However, the humidity is difficult to keep at the level you need and, most importantly, the shape of the machine and the unprotected, non-waterproof electrics, heating bands and fan at the top make it completely impossible to thoroughly clean between uses so I now have an expensive bacteria breeding colony to try and bring chicks into the world in. Wish I had got a Brindisa unit

Hi. I have received the product quiet early than expected. It came intact and in perfect packaging. However, I have faced an issue in the power supply unit where I cannot attach the two power supplies as the two cannot complete each others size. I would be greatful if this issue was solved.

I personally don't recommend using this. Our first time trying it we followed the instructions to the T. The success rate for the hatching was alright first time round, but with a majority of eggs dying. I've tried 3-4 cycles again where I've tried to hatch again and this is probably the 3rd time that non of them hatch at all. The humidity is very inaccurate so even if you result to buying this I would recommend getting a Hydrometer. I would say cleaning it isn't very easy, there are many areas within it that are electrical exposed and it's near impossible to clean the top part of the LID where the fan. Things I like about it is you're able to have a 360° view of the whole thing.

This is defo a good bit of kit. My only issue was that the incubator lid has scratch marks on it, only reason I dint send back was the fact I had ordered hatching eggs to put in it and they were out of stock to get a replacement.
