Ade Advanced Optics RD3-015 4MOA Red Dot Ultra Mega Window Sight for Handgun with 40000 Battery Life

I was not really expecting much when I ordered this item. It was going on a cheap gun that was going to just be used for fun. Well, this red dot optic surprised me with its sight picture and how bright it can get. I tested it out in full sunlight and I was able to find the dot without any issue. It stayed zeroed, once I adjusted it, without any issues. While it does not have some of the "cool" features on it like the more expenses red dots out there, it does the job I need it to do and it does it really well. Also, you don't have to remove it to replace the batter. So you can lock it down with thread lock and never have to worry about it coming loose. Overall I am very, very, happy with this.

Was a bit skeptical about ordering a lower end red dot for my XD9 Tactical based on fellow shooters advice. Was looking for an entry level red dot not knowing if I would even like shooting red dot. Compared to the other offerings, I decided this would be a great place to start. Easy to attach and profile is great. I like the larger screen as well as the brightness of the 4 MOA dot. Perfect for what I was looking for to experience red dot shooting. I used a laser bullet in my house to sight it in and then took it to the range. I was only about a half inch off at 30 feet and once I made the adjustment, was shooting 3 " groups consistently. I must say, that I am very impressed with the overall performance of this little gem. The only problem I had was with the windage adjustment being reversed. Took me a while to figure that it was reversed but once I realized it, I was able to easily zero in and lock it in place. I have only fired about 100 rounds at the range but it held true and I am now a fan of red dot shooting. Large screen allows easy target aquisition and I am looking forward to seeing how it holds up through competition shooting.

I am unable to determine the accuracy of this red dot because it could not be installed on my Glock 17 Gen4 MOS. All of the YouTube videos from ADE indicated that this red dot would fit a variety of firearms including Glock. Additionally, the size of the red dot was extremely small … much more so than anticipated … and it was difficult to see clearly. Returning it, and beginning another search for something that WILL fit my Glock. Other than these issues cited above, if it truly will fit YOUR firearm, the unit itself seemed to be very sturdy with a very large viewing area.

Great product, good price, and came with everything you needed to install, and love it being zeroed in withing 25 yards. Have not shot it at any farther distance. but I put it on my new AR9 pistol and love it. easy to use, easy to install, and if i wanted to, could put it on a normal pistol.

Arrived damaged and appears to be used, not sure if I got a one off but this fairly off, brightness seems fine . Not my first ade optic but definitely my last after customer service tried convincing me it was supposed to look that way

So far The seems to be a really nice little reflex site I purchased to install on my Ruger 2245 lite I wanted something with a large window for quick acquisition. I wasn’t worried about size this is not a defensive or carry pistol.

I see that it is a very good product, and that it came with the 4 moas that it is to aim at a distance not too far away. I installed it and soon I will try it. But it came very well packaged and with everything I need

Optic arrived and was spot on with the advertising. I used a DDP titanium plate along with the Vortex Venom screws that came with the optic. Installed in 10 minutes max. Used a wal mart bore laser. Stepped outside on my pistol range 5 shot group to the left made adjustments hitting a 8 inch plate at 20 yards 30 rounds. First impression is good. I will update after a 1000 rounds or failure whichever happens first. Skee Edit #1, 350 rounds in total in the rain, in the broad daylight, from 5 yard to 25 yards. The initial zero has stayed true with zero adjustments needed. It is on a Glock 19 gen 3. The only issues are my learning curve on this platform. Side note I understand why folks talk about 6 MOA and larger for faster dot placement on target. Update when needed.
