Works for me - every time
I have purchased several Walrus products at the recommending of a fellow woodworker. I have found all of them superior quality, easy to apply and I get a lot of questions from my customers about the finish.

nice
my woodcraft store only had this in the small bottles so I was really happy to get this I a bigger bottle I turn wood bowls and natural edge wood tables and I really love the easy application and finish has little to no smell and you can get a bit of a shin on it with a bit of buffing and burnishing I have used many different oils in the past but this, natural bees wax, and varnish is all I have and use on every thing I make

Great finish for various wood types
I have used this now on several wood projects. It is super easy to use, spreads well, doesn't smell much, and leaves a great finish. So far I have used this on white oak, red oak, and black walnut and the results are excellent.

Quickly becoming my only finish
I have been making a move toward this group of finishes; polymerizing oils. I started down this path with thinned poly in the form of Danish Oil, which worked well enough but left me wanting a more natural look for all the effort. I have used 0smo and still use a one-coat two-part alternative for tabletops and items that will get heavier use (the one I use for this was developed for floors and is quite expensive. I recently found this alternative and have used it on a number of charcuterie boards with great affect. It has worked well on Walnut, Ash, Maple, and Purple Heart. It is so easy to get right and works well with my sporadic work flow and across a large range of temperature with little change in time to finish. I have been finishing with a beeswax and walnut oil polish that gives them a nice luster. Walrus makes their own which I am testing now and will update there when I have had a chance to see the results over time. This is a great finish in the hardening oil category and well worth the price. (Get the big one, once you use it you will want more.)

This stuff is amazing
I love walrus oil and won’t use anything else on my natural wood pieces. It’s easy to apply and is safe for food surfaces. It gives thirsty wood such a beautiful, finished appearance… and brings out aaaall the natural colors. It doesn’t give any kind of a shine, but makes the wood look “healthy”. It’s a bit pricey, but worth it to make my one-of-kind pieces stand out!
