Customer Service
This is a very good machine, but my review is more about the customer support from NAVAC I received rather than the vacuum pump which we think is excellent. We have purchased a few of these units and as with anything else, you will get one that may fail. When I reached out to NAVAC support and informed them that one of their units I purchased stop working and it was within the warranty period, they responded quickly and send me out a new replacement unit immediately. I had it within a couple of days, and they did not make me go through any kind of troubleshooting steps, or give me a hassle of any kind, but rather just took care of this for me immediately. Not too many companies respond so quickly and take care of you so quickly, this is an excellent company with a great product, I would not hesitate to buy one of these units if you are considering a new vacuum pump.

Needs more R&D
Worked great for the first two times by use 3 and 4 I struggled to get pump to turn on by use 5 pump wouldn't turn on. Vacuum pump has two power buttons a physical toggle that I never had a problem with, then a pust button on the LCD screen that Completely stopped working. I recommend getting rid of button on the screen and use the toggle button as the one and only on and off switch. All in all the vacuum pump lasted me 5 days.

Navac NPR8Di
The pump works great but the handle is to close to the tee and the tee isn't positioned at the right angle. Struggled getting the hoses on the first time I used it but it worked well the second time the tee moved while trying to get the hose on it and I spent the next hour thinking I had a leak and it turns out the tee was loose. I ended up taking it out and putting some nylox on it and positioning it to be alittle easier to use but overall the handle and tee are just to close. Edit: I am using a trublu evac hose.

Pros and cons
I bought this pump a while ago. I’m a service technician. It’s a good pump here’s pros and cons Pros Lightweight Easy to use Has a gas ballast to get moisture out of the system a little better Can pull a vacuum well Comes with oil Cons Micron gauge don’t trust it’s supposed to be furthest from the vacuum pump anyways For me it’s sometimes hard to see moisture getting pulled out Took a while to get vacuum shipped

Oil spill everywhere
I wanted to return it due to oil spilling everywhere and damaged box. The two oil bottles included were fine so the oil was actually from the pump itself. I tested it and it ran. So I just had to spend time cleaning it up and refilling oil.
