Mens Stanton Crew Socks, Multipairs

I bought these socks for my dad and they are extremely high quality! He couldn’t keep them because they went too high up his leg, but they are some of the nicest men’s socks I’ve ever bought. These are listed as a crew sock but I’d call these an extended-length crew (at least for the size 13s) — they are longer than the crew socks he’s always worn. He’s looking for a replacement for the 100% acrylic socks he’s worn for decades because they stopped making them — they were a turn-cuff type sock (no elastic band at the top) that didn’t bind his leg at the top and his feet didn’t sweat in them. These might would have worked if they weren’t so long. These socks are extremely soft and stretchy.

These socks are comfortable, durable, and well-made—exactly what I want for everyday wear. The fabric is soft yet supportive, and they hold their shape well after multiple washes. The reinforced toe area lives up to the Goldtoe name, adding extra durability where it’s needed most. They stay in place without sliding down during the day, and the crew length works well with both casual shoes and boots. Breathable enough for all-day wear, but still sturdy enough to feel like they’ll last a long time. A reliable, classic pair of socks that balances comfort and longevity.

I don’t care how long it takes to get these socks, they are worth the wait. I couldn’t find them anywhere in town. My husband needs the larger size because of swollen ankles. They launder great and the variety of colors are perfect for his wardrobe.

Good: Attractive. Good fit. Good value. Comfortable. Bad: As many other reviewers have noted, these are not as thick as the ankle-length Goldtoe socks they closely resemble. They work and work well, but I doubt they'll last as long as the shorter socks I bought a couple months ago. Bottom line: This is my third batch of Goldtoe socks. The material of these is definitely thinner than my other two sets, and I can't see a good reason for that. I've gotten about two years of wear out of the others; we'll see whether these are as durable. I'm not optimistic. Four stars; will update when these begin wearing out.

These socks are fantastic. I’ve purchased similar sets of blue goldtoe socks from other retail outlets and these are much better. They have a higher quality feel and look to them. Time will tell when it comes to endurance. I’m considering buying a second set just so I have them when I need them.

Thin, but tough dress sock. Appears to be of good quality, it acts like a compression sock on my thick legs. It can be layered with thicker socks for hiking shoes.

My husband wanted a replacement for his threadbare “Gold Toes.” The quality of the socks we received was excellent. The socks put a smile on his face and a jump in his step!
