My doctor highly recommends this product. She has told me that lab work shows much better improvement with this brand over even more expensive brands. My blood work labs have improved greatly and this has been a game changer for my health. Definitely talk to your doctor because everyone is different but I medically need this supplement. Too much of this, can cause adverse health problems. So blood work should be monitored too.

I've been taking antidepressants for more than 50 years. Every three or four years, I have to change the prescription because the effectiveness seems to diminish over time. And then, in the last conversation I had with a psychiatrist, she told me that I might need to supplement with Methylpro 7.5 because there is some membrane across the brain that needs to be made penetrable to enable the antidepressant medication to cross through. I am not an expert. Talk with your doctor. I only know that taking Methylpro with my antidepressant RX has made a world of difference. I was able to lower my dosage and it still works well. Not everyone needs it. My husband does not take Methylpro, but I do. There is an oral swab that you can do that will tell you if you need this supplement.

I like the dark glass bottle and believe that it helps keep the supplement in proper condition. I have used MethylPro-5 MTHF L-Methylfolate in the past and stopped using it for a couple of years. I had forgotten how much better I felt while taking the supplement every day. I used to take a higher dose and decided to work up to the higher dose this time. Due to a health condition, I am not able to absorb Vitamin B-12 in my body and one result of that is depression. My dr recommended this supplement and specified this brand. He said it works in the brain and helps with my depression. I can attest that it does work. It is not a miracle drug but I am grateful for its help in reducing my depression.

Between this and the biotin you really can’t see her scalp now. While expensive, it’s worth it for her peace of mind. The biotin alone barely helped.
