Great functionality at a great price. Updated January 2020
Nice machine, not too loud.Have it connected to 3/16 id 5/16 od vinyl tubing on the centre of the hose outlet with the pump turned on. Its removing currently 4 cups per hour on continuous mode. Will update as time progresses. There should be a you tube tutorial and machines sold in US should have US standard system measurements. That being said, pretty excellent unit. This device has worked exceptionally well and brought my basement humidity down to 35% from over 70% in 2 days. Worth the purchase for sure.

worked perfectly the first four years
Runs like a champ but now it does not collect water. It is almost five years old so maybe that its the end of its life. I would recommend it though as it is easy to run and maintain and not too large to be too heavy or awkward.

Works well
Made my humid basement comfortable in a day. My brother borrowed it for leak clean up in his basement and was thrilled with the results. It works really well, just hoping it lasts more than two years.

Pump lasted three months
This worked great initially although it did raise the temperature in my bathroom quite a bit. I purchased the unit on June 30th and by October 1st the pump had stopped working. I figured I would just empty the tank manually until it gets sorted out. Now, the dehumidifier is completely frozen and unusable. No idea why - the filter is clean, the room is not cold, and there is plenty of airflow. Customer service has not responded to my request that was submitted well over a week ago. Amazon will let me return for a refund but I'm out a restocking fee.

Press "Internal Drying" button for 3 seconds to turn on the pump.
This was the second unit received. Both were received with the bottom of the box apart. The first leaked and was returned. This could have been due to the inadequate shipping container held together with two pieces of tape. The picture is of the second unit. I wouldn't have accepted it if I'd been home, but decided to try it. My old unit said the compessor needed to sit for 12 hours after putting on its side, so the next morning it was plugged in and worked. The unit has done a good job so far. I didn't figure out how to activate the pump till this afternoon. It worked so far, but time will tell.

Woked for 5 months...
The unit arrived in a box that does not protects it very well.Although it arrived in good condition, I suspect this was luck.I installed it in a 500sq/f finished basement to control average 85% humidity. It worked very well within a 10% margin of error that I found by using a trusty hygrometer to keep tabs on the humidity levels in the room.Tested a different few humidity percentages that are offered by the panel and the unit performed well.I never tested the continuous mode and was ok with removing water from the tank when filled.Overall was happy with the results. And for the price I thought it was a goos deal. Then, after 5 months of intermittent use the compressor on the unit stopped working.Panel lights up, fan works but no dehumidification takes place.Tried contacting the seller via the official website and after 3 tries still haven't heard back from them.Very bad customer service info, since there is no phone number supplied or email to get in touch.Still under warranty so I expect to get a new one!

Works great!
So far I am happy with its performance. We have a small 1000 sq foot home and it keeps up with the humidity great. We have not yet used the continuous feature with the built in pump. So far we have just dumped the bin when it is full. The only issue is with the hot air that is expelled from the top. This IS what its supposed to do and is NOT a defect. However it definitely fights with the air conditioner during the hotter hours of the day. Very happy with the purchase.

Good purchase with durability to be seen
Easy to set up with a confusing instruction on connecting the pump tubing, particularly because there was a special misleading instruction attached to the connector.Noise level is comparable to my other dehumidifier and actually generate less heat in comparison. My only real complaint is that the device vibrates a little more than I expected especially at the low fan setting. There are many positive sides of it: remove moisture effectively; recover setting after power failure. This is particularly useful if you smart plug to control the schedule of the unit.I cannot comment on the durability yet but will see.
