Definitely better than splicing or soldering!
This cable made it wonderfully simple to hook a brake controller up to my 2015 F150. It literally made the job plug-and-play. You COULD use the connector that comes with the vehicle if you have it (mine came in the glove box) but really, not having to splice those wires is worth more than the cost of this cable.

Works Great
I originally ordered the wrong part and missed the return date by a few days, but since the cost was so low, its all good. When I fixed my mistake, the brake and plug work just as advertised. Very easy to install even for a novice like me.

Perfect fit.
This cable is ideal for installation of the Tekonsha brake controller. It fit perfectly to the vehicle wiring harness which made the installation of the controller a simple plug in operation. Even though my truck came with a brake wiring pigtail this adapter allows the installation to be free of any field connections and cleaner install. This was used on a 2010 F-150 with factory tow package.

Fits my truck perfectly. 10 second install. Wish the description would use the same numbers as Tekonsha's website though. Was nervous about it fitting until it did.

Arrived earlier than scheduled & installation was a snap. Absolutely nothing bad to say about the product or the vendor, especially since I originally ordered the wrong part in error which they took back without a quibble.
