Had my doubts
I was having drift so bad the joycon was unusable. This kit was perfect for replacing the joystick. I found a video discribing how to install it. The video left out one important part. They left out how to "unplug" the old joystick. I still gave this 5 stars because it worked great.

Works great
Used these to fix my friend’s kids switch controllers. Working great.

No idea why they want me to mention “thickness” or “sheerness” in this review but these replacement joycon joysticks are great! And with a quick search on how to install them I was able to replace my drifting joysticks quite easily!

This worked great. It came with everything needed. Before I had drift and now I don't. Just make sure you re calibrate the controller after you've put the new thumbstick in!

The Tri-Screw that comes with this doesn't fit the screws of a Nintendo switch joy-con. The screw driver stripped my screws and I'm now unable to open my joycon anymore. You have to purchase a 1.5mm tri screw, not the 2mm one included with the set.

One stick didn't work at all, the other drifted so far that it was impossible to calibrate. The tools were fine, and worked well. Based on other reviews some people have better luck with the sticks they get. But it doesn't seem to be worth the risk.
