I have very thick hair and there is a lot of it. My boyfriend has extremely sensitive skin and this product works amazing for both of us. This smells epic and leaves my hair soft and manageable. My only complaint is that I have to order both shampoo and conditioner, I don't know anyone that finishes both bottles of any brand at the same time.

Great product, I have gotten numerous compliments on the shininess, length and the texture of my hair since using. Can make my specific scalp a bit oily so I pair it with a clarifying shampoo occasionally and it works great! So grateful to find a gluten free shampoo/conditioner set! love the scent too!

Item arrived quickly and as pictured. However, this made my daughter's waist-length, fine hair feel dry and brittle. It also made it difficult to detangle. I really wanted to like this product, as I have loved other NYM products, but this one was disappointing. It may do better on hair that isn't as long, as fine, or as moisture-needing as my girl's.

I just recently gave this a shot. The bottle is very handy -- pump-tops make things easier than hinge-lids. Overall, it's very lightweight, has good natural ingredient variety, and is also dye-free. It does its job well! Only other comment is that I am slightly disappointed in the scent since it's not what I thought it was going to be. It's supposed to be "zesty apple" but it's a very powdery grassy smell with maybe a small hint of floral. I was hoping for more apple. If you like scents that are amber/musk and clean, this will work for you.

Product is really good, works well for wash, condition and then detangle and go. Controls frizz well, only complaint is the shampoo bottle caves in and harder to get that product out, but that's a minor inconvenience

For a long time, I struggled with scalp buildup and loose, frizzy curls. After discovering in July that my curl shampoo and conditioner that I'd been using for the past year had silicones in it the whole time, I felt betrayed, invigorated, and motivated to rejuvenate my scalp, so I went on a research rampage to find a replacement. This involved long days spent hunched over curlsbot and r/curlyhair and googling related ways to fix myself and become more excellent and beautiful. Maybe I was going through some other stuff this summer and it intersected. Who knows? Anyway, this is the one I landed on because I like apple scents. A lot of other reviewers across the internet noted that the scent was quite strong, and for some people it was strong enough for them to stop using it, so I was a bit wary of just buying it online rather than going to the store to find it and smell it there first. But in the end, impatience won out, so on the day I got paid from my new job that I started after the breakup, I instantly bought this and eagerly awaited its arrival. The scent IS strong, but it's not crazy and if you like florals or sweet smells you will be fine. It lasts till day 2 sometimes as well, and considering that the body usually adjusts to its own smells, I'd say that still smelling it after 24 hours means I feel confident about how I smell to others. My routine now includes a weekly double cleanse with the VO5 Kiwi Clarifying Shampoo followed by this conditioner because I still have some build-up that I guess is natural, and also because the city I live in now has harder water than the one in which my ex-boyfriend abruptly left me this summer. Other than that, I wash and condition with this set every other day and use my normal styling products after. I have to say, after only a couple of weeks, my hair is bouncy, shiny, soft, and smells great. My curls are coming back to how they were in high school, and I am starting to feel like myself again.

Really disappointed... I looked through so many ads to make sure I was ordering the larger size. I realise it is a very small volume difference, but what I received was not what was advertised. (The white line through the label is where the packaging was glued to the label and it ripped when it was unpacked.)
