The Motorola DS6707 SR handheld omnidirectional laser barcode reader is black, contains a 1.3-megapixel digital camera, comes with a 7' USB Type A cable, and can be used to scan and decode linear one-dimensional (1D) and two-dimensional (2D) barcodes, take digital pictures, and scan documents measuring up to 8-1/2 x 11 inches. A 650-nanometer (nm) laser produces lines of light in an omnidirectional pattern to scan barcodes at different angles at a resolution of 5 mm. An integrated 1.3-megapixel digital camera can be used to take digital pictures. The 7' USB Type A cable plugs into the USB port of a computer or another host system (sold separately) to transmit barcode data and power the barcode reader. The barcode reader can also be connected to a serial port or keyboard wedge (cables sold separately). Motorola Remote Scanner Management software (available separately for download) can be used by an administrator to manage the device remotely. This product weighs 6.4 oz. and measures 6.55 x 2.82 x 5.08 inches (H x W x D).
