Perfect fit in my Craftsman band saw, same size as the 20 year old capacitor it replaced. Good quality, easy to install.

Had a motor on my hay elevator that sat all winter and spring COVERED outside and when tried to use it for hay this year, it buzzed. I immediately dreaded the $567.00 cost of a new one. Then I thought about the situation and realized it was in the starter and needed to check the capacitor. Yep! It was corroded beyond any possible use. Ordered this for less than $20.00 and recieved it in less than2 days … and it works like a charm. Do not ditch the motor until you check the capacitor starter…. Save some money! Took less than two minutes to repair and replace!. You will be glad you did too!

While I admit I did not open this and even if i could I would not know (i mean inside the capacitor) what I am really looking at to tell if its "good quality" or not, I ordered this for someone who has a say 30 year old irrigation pump that had issues and finally opening it up, we saw a cracked cap. Opening everything up to replace it (not THIS product's fault) was tricky being so old and rusted outside in south FL for years (even made it through Hurricane Ian) ... however once this new cap was in place we tested things and the pump came on as it use to, no problems. We have used it a few times (4 zones, 45 minutes per zone) and everything seems like it use to be. Granted we weren't sure if that was the ONLY issue, and we did do our research first (everything pointed to the "starter 'cap' " being the problem) ... this got our pump working again, and was easy to install. There was one number on the old cap we couldn't match up so we weren't sure about but the MFD, VAC and hertz numbers WERE all identical from the old cap to this one.... I also remember there being a "lot 2" on the old one, and a "lot 1" on this one... still not sure what that is about but like i said ... so far this works great.

I needed a replacement start capacitor for an electric motor in my shop - the original capacitor was damaged when the motor was dropped. I found this capacitor was a fit both in physical size and rated capacity. After a week of daily use I have had consistent starts and have noted no issues. I am pleased with this purchase. TEMPCo had the capacitor in inventory and delivery was quick. It is difficult to find locall.

My washer would just hum and wouldn't go into a cycle. I took the starter capacitor out and tested it with a multimeter and it wouldn't even register any capacitance reading at all. Replaced the capacitor with this one and it works like new. For $15.00 vs $150.00 to have a repairman do it is a win for me. Hopefully it lasts a long time but if not it's a cheap and easy fix.

Ordered the product and installed it myself on my 60-65 year old compressor. Worked perfectly fine when first installed but shortly thereafter it quit. In fairness to the Seller/manufacturer I am not positive that the right part was ordered
