Jordan almonds are one of my favorite candies, but it's nearly impossible to find jordan almonds that aren't cross-contaminated with gluten or exorbitantly expensive. As someone with a severe gluten allergy, I haven't been able to eat jordan almonds for a decade until I found these! They're sweet, fresh, and crunchy, with a delicious vanilla-y flavor. The center almonds are semi-soft, which makes a nice contrast with the shell. The shell is a bit thicker than most, but I actually prefer it that way, since eating just a few can satisfy my cravings and I can make my bag last longer. I've already placed my next order for the 4 lb bag!

on some other brands the coating on the almond has a very bland taste, not the case with this product. I have gone from ordering one package to ordering three packages.

The flavor was generally good. However, I question how the Jordan's name is being used here. I think Jordan's in this case is a 'type' of almond more so than a brand. I have been eating them for 50 years off and on and they are not like the original. This brand shouldn't be purchased without a good dental plan. The shell is too thick and therefore very hard.

My package of Jordan Almonds has arrived! I bit into my first one, then stopped to write this review. They taste just the way I remember when I bought them in the theater years ago. Delicious! The "best by" date on this package is 02/03/2022, so they are nice and fresh. I saw from searching and reading the reviews that there are "softer" candy shells for these almonds now. However, if you like a hard exterior candy coating on your Jordan Almonds, as I do, you're going to love these. Considering this pandemic we're living through, the delivery time from the seller was reasonable; and from reading the reviews, I chose this seller because the customer service was good. Nothing worse than a bad product and a seller with no respect for the customer with a legitimate complaint. When I review a product, I always try to be fair and impartial. I depend on honest reviews myself since, most of the time, I have no way to examine firsthand the things I buy. So I hope this review helps you. Now I'm going to finish the other half of the Jordan Almond I started, plus quite a few more, while I enjoy something on YouTube and work on an afghan I'm crocheting for my sister.
