desertcart.com: A Manual of Style for Contract Drafting, Fourth Edition: 9781634259644: Adams, Kenneth A.: Books Review: Clarity! At last. - I really like Ken Adams’ blog for drafting tips, so I finally decided to get his book. Now, if only I could convince other attorneys I work with or against to use it too, rather than their loyalty to confusing old templates... An excellent resource for any attorney drafting any sort of agreement (and probably litigators too, for interpretation). Ken uses court cases to back up his claims which makes it a handy reference tool as well, though ymmv on convincing other (USAmerican) attorneys that best efforts really isn’t substantially better than commercially reasonable efforts (but you know what’s better still? Actual clarity and guidance! But so many attorneys still prefer the shortcut and vague insinuation of ‘best efforts’; ah well). Pick it up. It’s the resource you need to supplement those Contract Law classes that never got around to teaching you how to draft an actual contract. Review: Best primer on common K terms - I review commerical agreements for a living, Mr. Adams suggestions are clear, concise, and backed up by case law. There isn't a better guide to contracts available.

If you write contracts, just get this book.
Ken Adams’ insights are well supported by logic and case law, and I’ve heavily used this book since the third edition to improve the clarity of the contracts I write. I haven’t found anything else that compares. So that this doesn’t sound like a paid ad: I don’t like the new green and black color scheme of the cover. There - I said it.

A great book on what you need to know about contract writing and reviewing
Very thorough contract style guide for contracts. So many other books touch on a few items, but the author goes in depth on each topic of contracts. Great read!

Good Book
The e-book addition has cool features. Wish I bought the hard copy but use it for law school courses that are geared towards a transactional practice.

Eines der besten Bücher über Vertragsdrafting auf Englisch, auch wenn nicht alle Aussagen unbestritten sein mögen.
