Prison Break - Season 3 [DVD][2007]

Prison break series 3 picks up from where it left off- it is exciting, on the edge of your seat entertainment. Series 3 centres around Michael being blackmailed by The Company to break James Whistler out of prison - but why?... Meanwhile, Lincoln, Sucre and new ally [Whistler's girlfriend] Sofia battle to free Sarah and LJ from the Company, who, as mentioned before will kill them unless Michael completes the task. We also see Bellick, Mahone and T-Bag in Sona with Michael. Sona is a prison with no guards inside, only at the perimeter, and also with the army circulating the prison, so breaking out is far from easy,especially when the prisoners of Sona are barbaric and violent, and unless you fight and win, you die. I would seriously recommend this to anyone, Prison Break hasn't lost its touch and is a s exciting and intereting as ever. I still maintain its the best drama series out there. Definately watch it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The third season of the best US drama series is excellent, this is one of my favourite season, now that Michael is now in a Sona prison which is a hellish prison, the rules are simple, fight to stay alive. The main plot for this season is the Company want Michael to break out a guy called James Whistler out of this prison, also a shocking twist is later revealed about Sara but this is not the case since she returned in season 4. This season has now been reversed with Michael in prison and now Lincoln is on the outside trying to break his brother out with the help from Sucre. Season 3 has everything with action, suspense, cliff-hangers, tense episodes, this will have you gripped until the series final, also this is a short season with only 13 episodes due to the writers strike in 2007 - 2008 which is a shame. The boxset arrived in excellent condition.

I have seen this season 3 of the best drama prison break on sky one HD And omg prison break just keeps getting better every seasons. I won't give away any plots just in case no one has not seen it anyway but all i am going to say is that a popular character gets killed of and she has been with the series since the begaining. I can't wait until this comes out on blu-ray and i am looking forward to the fourth season starting on sky one HD On 2 september 2008. If you loved season 1 and 2 then you will deffo love this seasons as it brings shocking cliffhangers, twists and this time michael is in the panoma prison and Lincoln tries to get him out. but can he? you will just have to watch and see as i am not giving it away!!

I'm crazy about Prison Break - watched it when it was on Channel Five but didn't get to see it on Sky so eagerly awaited the release on this DVD! It's only 13 episodes because of the writers strike which is a shame but they've done a good job of compressing the story into the 13 episodes. I don't want to spoil it so all I will say is that the plot is really clever - not as good as Season One and I was slightly dissapointed whilst watching the first 3 or 4 episodes but after the slow start the action builds up and the story starts to unfold even more - it's amazing and keeps you on the edge of your seat just like Seasons One and Two did. I gave this to my girlfriend to borrow afterwards and she loves it too. Highly recommended to anyone who loved the first two episodes - just give it chance. If you are a TRUE fan of Prison Break you will love this even if it is not as good as the first two seasons - just. Season Four promises to be 22 episodes and somebody is returning...

Season 3 starts with Michael, Mahone, Bellick and T-Bag in a Panamanian prison, which is run by a drug-lord and his cronies - the prison guards remain outside the walls and shoot anyone who tries to escape. To create an implausible pretext for Michael to break out of another prison, the scriptwriters decided to have Sarah and LJ kidnapped and threatened with death unless Michael breaks out another prisoner who works for the company (Whistler). There are a few new characters, including Gretchen (a scary lady who works for the Company and is the kidnapper), Sophia (who is Whistler's girlfriend), and a variety of unsavoury prisoners to make life more interesting. Unlike Season 1, which had them breaking out of a normal prison after Michael's months of detailed planning, the breakout in season 3 from a much tougher place is somehow improvised out of nowhere in a week, but though it stretches incredulity to the limit, you somehow believe in it! As T-bag says in one episode "let's see if he's got the tattoo to get out of THAT one" - but Michael manages without a tattoo!! Fewer episodes in this season makes for a faster more exciting pace, and some fine acting too especially from Wentworth Miller as Michael (who is increasingly desperate about Sarah) and William Fichtner as Mahone (who is suffering from drug withdrawal). Highly recommended!

I have read reviews by people saying that season 2 and 3 are rubbish, I can not understand this, they are all amazing and season 3 it as great. There is a whole new look on things, it is not a complete copy of season 1 as some people have stated, there are new problems to be faced and more intimidating characters. Ok there are a few things that could have been done a lot better, I am not going to spoil it by revealing these but I think when you watch it you will see what I mean. Overall season 3 is definitely worth buying, it follows on nicely from season 2 and I would recommend it.

This show was amazing in its first season, then came the second, the story started to become stretched and sometimes i would ask myself how is this show still on the air, but then PB fans went and done the wrong thing they demanded a 3rd season and now all the goodness of that 1st season has been undone and PB season 3 ruins everything. A 4th season is on the way so i'm sure its only a matter of time until this show eventually gets cancelled. Lets just say its not upto par with the very superior 24, Lost, or even Desperate Housewives. Very poor and only 13 episodes makes it worse. Rent DONT BUY!!!

This is Season 3 to my favorite series Prison Break and never the less special. I love the plotline and setting inside Panama's toughest prison in the world (fictional) Sona involving Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) trying to break out again like Season 1. Season 1 and 3 are my most favorite of the entire series. I actually bought 1 & 3 first before buying Seasons 2 & 4. The lack of episodes for Season 3 was cut short due to the writer's strike that occurred in the process back in 2010. So it's not the show's fault for cutting the episodes down in one of the best seasons. Anywho, the product was great. Shipping was great as well, no complaints or scratches on the CDs or damaged artwork. Would highly recommend this product if you are a fan of action, suspense, thriller type shows.

Was soll ich hierzu noch viel erzählen, Prison Break bleibt auch in den mittlerweile 3 Staffel eine Ausnahmeerscheinung im Fernsehgeschäft. Selten ist Spannung so konzentriert bis zum bittern Ende zu finden wie hier, sind Chliffhanger schonungsloser platziert als hier. Und auch die Darsteller leisten ihrem Anteil, das dieses Konzept so prächtig funktioniert und selbst das am anfangs erstmal gewöhnungsbedürftige Setting Sona gewinn mit der Zeit so dermaßen an fahrt, das man über logisch Ungereimtheiten gerne hinwegsieht. Kurz großes Kino im Fernsehformat 20 Fox bringt die schick verpackte Blu Ray auf den Markt, das Bild ist für so eine qualitativen Serie würdig umgesetzt, satte Farben und meist tadellose Schärfe lassen die Hitze in Sona schon fast erahnen, Abzug gibt es hingegen für teils doch vorhandene Rauschen in dunkeln Szenen. Der Sound ist schön dynamisch geraten besonders für eine im TV produzierte Serie, die Effekte kommen sauber aus den Boxen, Dialoge sowie die Serienmusik tönen kräftig aus dem Heimkino. Die Extras sind gut und zahlreich vorhanden, geben einen spannenden Einblick in diese Serie. Prison Break ist ein Knaller, dank überzeugenden technischen Eindrucks auch im Heimkino
