Yamaha KU100 Silent Kick Pedal Unit

Couldn't believe I found this on Amazon for $35. Usually it goes for $100. I had to wait a couple weeks, which meant it Amazon didn't carry the item but was importing from overseas. But was worth the wait.

Ordered this pedal for my daughters DD75 (already have the bass pedal and beater) as she needs a more portable and easier to setup on practice outside the house. she is very much pleased. Delivery was excellent because it arrived earlier than expected. only thing I noticed is if I connect it to our DTX-452K the pedal volume is very weak compared to the DD75. But all in all, it's a great upgrade to the toy "buttons" from the DD75.

I love mine but it slides a little to much

You have to hit it a very precisely way to not double trigger. Other than that, the material looks and feels durable.

I don't see why they would screw this up so bad. I tried replacing the DD-75 electronic drum kit's kick buttons with this, but once I'd checked the MIDI for the generated drums, they were all fine, except the kicks, which were nearly all maxed out on volume. I tried playing lighter, but it seemed impossible to play light enough to avoid most of the beats maxing out. A less sensitive, or an adjustable sensor, would avoid this problem. I figure they didn't have any real musicians around to give them advice, or they didn't listen, when complaints came in. Only buy if you feel like editing all the MIDI volumes yourself.

Très satisfait de sa petite taille et silencieux, je l'utilise depuis plus de 9 mois comme trigger de grosse caisse sur un Alesis Strike Multipad en usage appartement. J'ai calé un carré de coton pour atténuer encore plus le bruit de l'appui.
