My son is very happy with the J sax and it has quite a good mellow sound. I think it will be good for him to learn on.

I bought this for my 9 year old son and he has picked it up really quickly. 6 months on and he's still using it and enjoying his lessons. My only criticism is the circular rubber parts are easily lost. The time will come where we upgrade to an alto but it's a good introduction to the sax for a fraction of the cost.

Expensive last minute purchase for my husband to continue his saxophone practice on holiday. He struggled to get used to the lighter weight and feel, he got a tune from it but didn’t feel that he could make good progress. Give it another six months in the box and I’ll review it again after our next holiday. The product was of good quality, good value and came with a robust carry case and cleaning kit.

Arrived super quick in perfect condition. Thank you Chamberlain Music for caring about your customers. I previously had to return one directly from Amazon which had been used and returned - so disappointing and unhygienic. You saved the day and it arrived in time for Christmas. :)

I have a regular sax, but this is nice to just have laying around and not worrying about it getting too cold or hot or wet etc.

It took about 5 seconds to put this thing together and instantly you can hear this has a real nice sax sound. It's been a long time since I played a "real sax" so I can't comment on the volume comparison, but I think it's loud enough for me. Any louder and I'd be worried about annoying the neighbors! Some notes are a little tricky to get right as you get used to the "press down but don't cover the hole" technique, but overall it's very easy to learn. I like the confidence in the product that the literature has. "No need to keep it in it's box", "Leave it out", "play it in the shower", "if it gets dirty, just wash it in soapy water". That's a refreshing change to the usual bottom covering. Only one problem. Maybe I'm missing something but I can't seem to get the very top note. If I play it as instructed it sounds an octave lower. I'll just work around that. Talking of octaves. That is the only way I feel this instrument is limited. But again, I can work within that limit. All in all, I wanted a real human sax sound for my recordings but I didn't want to spend around £300 to get it. This fits the bill perfectly.

Yo no soy músico y justo es mi segundo instrumento, pero aún así me atrevo a valorarlo. Antes de este he comprado otro en Aliexpress (tiene forma de flauta, con un sonido muy parecido al saxofón), pero me ha resultado muy difícil hacerlo sonar, quizás un día lo retome, pero este JSAX 2.0 la verdad es que me ha sorprendido gratamente. Según me ha dicho una amiga que si es saxofonista, tiene el sonido de un saxo alto. Yo lo he podido hacer sonar con muy poco esfuerzo y aquí van mis PROS: 1- Facilidad de manejo, se puede hacer sonar con muy poco esfuerzo y si te pones frente a un espejo (como hice yo) puedes ir acoplando la forma en que soplas para lograr el sonido que deseas con comodidad. 2- Tamaño y transporte de lujo, si quieres llevarlo a donde sea es muy fácil hacerlo, ocupa muy poco espacio y el montaje es sin dudas lo más rápido que haces. 3- Limpieza del instrumento súper cómoda, no me imagino metiendo un saxofón de latón bajo un chorro de agua, pues con este si que lo puedes hacer y es muy recomendado ya que si de generar saliva se trata, estos instrumentos se llevan las palmas y es poco higiénico no lavarlo después de un buen rato molestando a los vecinos con tus notas musicales. 4- Precisamente LAS NOTAS musicales; al no tener ninguna idea de música (el mismo día que compré mi JSAX 2.0 descargué un curso de solfeo y lectura de música para al menos imaginarme a que me enfrentaría), descargué también una aplicación de IOS (n-Track Tuner) y que sorpresa la mía que me fue reconociendo cada una de las notas que intente soplar, incluso, según cómo fuera colocando mi boca llegué a notas sostenidas y bemoles desde la misma a nota (cabe aclarar que también puedes llegar a las mismas jugando con las llaves). Pienso, y quizás un día pueda hacerlo, que se pueden obtener más notas de las que se dice en el manual que se obtienen, todo está en jugar con la posición de la boca según lo que desees hacer. 5- Y por último (que es el motivo por el que más lo he comprado) NO necesitas hacer una inversión descomunalmente innecesaria si: sólo quieres un instrumento que suene y sea un saxofón, no te dedicas profesionalmente a ser músico, no quieres estar cargando con kilos de latón para donde quiera que vayas, no quieres estar limpiando y pagando para mantener afinado tu instrumento. En resumen, para ti que lo que quieres es aprender tocar el saxofón, divertirte con amigos y acompañar una que otra canción en tenderetes, relajarte en la playa haciéndolo sonar o practicando tus futuras clavadas de momentos musicales, yo te lo recomiendo sin pensarlo, ahora si profesionalmente eres músico y necesita un saxofón, también te digo que ya habrás tenido tiempo de habértelo comprado y sino, pues echa mano de tu talento y juega con tu boca para usar el JSAX 2.0, te aseguro que serás la envidia de algunos y la admiración de otros, en cualquier caso, no dejarás indiferente a nadie.

Mancano le note intermedie, il SI basso per me sarebbe importante averlo, oltre il SOL in alto non riesco ad andare. Detto questo, suona bene ed é ottimo come gioco per suonicchiare e per imparare.

Todo bien como lo esperaba ya son varios instrumentos que pido y los uso para motivar a principiantes para que busquen tocar instrumentos en niveles de excelencia.

je commence le sax seul ... pas de pros dans ma région. Mais mon "vrai" saxophone est encombrant et demande beaucoup de soins... il faut 10 minutes avant qu'il ne soit chaud pour commencer à s'entraîner... le Jsax est directement prêt à jouer, je l'emporte partout dans mon sac à dos... SUPER facile dans le prise en main... génial. Je recommande vivement cet achat pour commencer le sax. Eviter d'acheter un vrai saxophone pas cher qui va vous dégoûter a cause du passage impossible de la clé d'octave sur des sax à moins de 900 euros...

Sonne aussi bien que son grand frère
