OLICAMP POT LIFTER Red

Thankfully I was sent a good one. Judging from the few one-star ratings, it failing or being sent a defective piece was a small concern I had. There really is not much one can say about this device, especially for me and how it is being used. I drink instant coffee in the morning and heat the 12 oz of water I need in an empty 1 Lb peach tin. Yes, even in my own home I live somewhat primitively. This item was purchased so as to not require a towel with which to pour the water. It will not be lifting much by the way of weight. I received it in the post yesterday and have just now finished putting it to use. What I can say is it performed rather handsomely. As to how long it will endure is another matter entirely, but the first use was flawless. As of now, I am rather pleased I purchased it. Should anything change and it fails sooner than it should, I shall adjust this review accordingly. Even though it was only an $11 item (after shipping and tax), it would still be a pity for it to fall apart after a short time.

I love this new gadget! I have a pot that lost the handle and I didn’t want to throw it away because it was such a great pot and I was very pleased to find this handle that works great and allows me to keep using my pot forever! It’s sturdy and grasps well to the pot and is very handy! Its lightweight is ideal too, it doesn’t get hot either! The price was totally worth it!

Very lightweight. I think it would work a little better if the lower lever sat foward more. Might cut the rivet and replace with something removable so it can be adjusted with the hole behind

Perfect for turning a metal plate into a pot. When I'm camping I try to avoid carrying extra stuff. Everything needs to have a function. This pot lifter allows me to take a metal plate that I also then use as my cooking pot. Once I'm done cooking I take the plate off the fire and unhook this pot holder and above got a plate of food to eat from. It's very light and feels very sturdy. It feels like it'll last me a very long time.

Very nice piece of gear. Works on all my cookware. Was a little snug on the gripping when I first got it, but a small "adjustment" with a pair of pliers solved that problem. Now it opens and closes easy. Lightweight yet strong and very versatile. Use it for lots more than just cooking around the fire and alcohol stove.

I bought this to hold my toaks titanium plate so that I can use it as a frying pan as well as a plate. It grips it very well and felt very sturdy, due to the angle of the plates’ sides it does not grip level for my particular plate, but I knew this before hand. Great product

Great for camping, and with the red color, people will notice and wonder what it’s used for. It has a great grip and doesn’t scratch the pot, unless handled incorrectly. Also makes transferring the pot from campfire to table mush easier. It’s super light so you won’t notice it’s weight if you have it in a bag or anything. I highly recommend this, it’ll make your camping/cooking life much easier vs with mitts or cloths.

Works as intended, I wish it were a bit longer but it does the job and stays cool. I have several of these and they all have held up very well. I wish it would grip my modified TFAL pan a bit better, but the TFAL wasn't made to have it's handle removed and used over an open fire either.

This is a well built pot handle. it holds very well and is solidly built. It'll fir nicely with my camping pot set.

Tiene un buen agarre, es super ligero, es un poco pequeño pero realmente es lo que buscas para que pueda caber en cualquier lugar. Se ve una buena calidad y no creo que me lo acabe en esta vida.

Why wasn't it listed as made in China? Would not have bought it then.
