Thule Ski & Snowboard Rack Carrier

Easy to install and rides quiet.

Works great. Easy to install. Fit four pairs of skis without any problem. And although the picture shows only one rack, it does come with two.

This ski rack has been fantastic this season. I have used it multiple times and my skis have always been safe and secure. I love that it has a locking feature that allows me to leave my car and skis in a public place and not worry about them being stolen. They were very easy to install to my roof rack and easy to use after for the skis. It was also nice that they were cheaper than the official website.

Super easy solution for getting around with multiple boards/skis. Although tough to maybe see, I could easily fit a total of one snowboard and three pairs of skis. Only watch out is for anyone who's shorter, I recommend always putting a snowboard (if applicable) in first. With a short wingspan, putting in a pair of skis in the furthest/first spot makes it very tough to get them out. I had to open my sunroof to push them closer to the edge so I could reach them. Putting in a snowboard first and then the skis is a solid option and allows me to optimize the full rack.

Awesome ski rack. Works great. Brackets to clamp to your crossbars are fine but plastic so don’t over tighten. Wish they were aluminum. Definitely can’t fit the number of skiis it’s says. Maybe 5 sets tops, but I knew that and didn’t need more than that.

Disappointed in these. Thought I’d be getting something high-quality since it’s from Thule, but not the case. The mounting brackets are cheap plastic with no real threads for the bolts.. The back that holds the top and bottom of entire unit together is also a flimsy piece of plastic. I doubt they’d last more than a couple of seasons, but I’ll never know since I’m returning them. Used to have the Yakima FatCat’s and those were night and day difference in quality — they lasted like 10 years. Thought I could get away with a cheaper option this time around but this one doesn’t even compare.

Quality as expected from Thule. Easily attached to a BMW factory rack. I did order longer security Torx screws as the supplied ones were too short for the thick factory rack. Readily found on Amazon. Those that complained the mount broke obviously overtightened it. No need to go bananas as the clamps are very secure. Skis are very securely held on by the flexible rubber cushions.

We love this ski rack for our ski trips to the hills. Ours hold an adult snowboard and two sets of skis without any issues. I love the quality of Thule products and will continue to purchase them for all our outdoor adventures. For the price, you get an amazing product with this Ski/Snowboard Rack. If you are thinking hard about this product, you will be happy, unless you need to travel with 6+ skis/snowboards. Enjoy :)
