Very portable
I love this pick, because all my prospecting gear has to fit on my small bike trailer it's important that all my tools have a small footprint. This is perfect because it's very sturdy and a decent size too when put together, I love that there's a magnet on the ends, both ends in fact. Love this pick!

Sturdy little pick axe
Feels solid, pouch has slots for the 3 individual pieces the handle breaks down into and the head. Has good weight and feel to it, doesnt have play in the connections or head when tightened down. Carry pouch has a belt loop, and feels strong but I will likely just carry it along with.

Great product. Inexpensive. Compact and strong magnets. Small space in handle for matches or whatever. Super strong. Everyone should have one at the 40 bucks I got mine for.

Handle parts tend to unscrew when using in hard soil
I like the compactness and quality material. However, no matter how tight I twist on all the parts of the handle, it becomes unscrewed when using on hard dirt. I tried tapeing the separate handle sections with Gator Tape, but that didn't hold so now I am trying perminent thread locker by Locktight. It is short enough that it fits in my backpack while fully assembled so I don't need to separate the parts. If the threadlock doesn't solve the issue I will return it. John

Do not settle for nothing least, and buy the best and this gold digger is awesome.
When you find gold and have to dig it out, you will be so glad you bought the best. Awrsome!
