Hobby - Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz - #17 Wing Gundam Zero (EW) RG 1/144 Model Kit

I got this as a gift and it was a huge hit. It was the exact Gundam they’d been wanting to build and they were super excited when they opened it. The kit looks really sharp and detailed in person and the packaging was clean and intact. It showed up on time and was everything I hoped it would be for a solid gift. Would definitely grab another model from this line in the future. Was totally worth the value and perfect size for a desk toy. Being a RG this was a little more difficult for them to put together, but still was great. Colors were vibrant!

Excellent kit even for someone like me who has been out of the hobby for a long time. Be aware that there are some difficult steps in the assembly process. Most notably: head assembly and decal application to the head. However, overall this is a great kit. Would absolutely recommend a quality pair of nippers, some fine tipped forceps, and a spudger of some kind to help pull pieces apart in case of incorrect assembly. Instructions are in Japanese, but the diagrams are good enough that I was able to follow them relatively easily. Total assembly time: roughly 5 hours give or take. Hard to quit once you get going!

This kit is an absolute blast to build. The Real Grade series, being Bandai's latest and greatest model line, definitely shows how far their kits have come over the years. This model is extremely detailed, with more small parts and a more advanced inner frame skeleton than even a master grade - this is truly like having a modern perfect grade in a palm-sized 1/144th scale. Even the instruction book is freshly updated and different. This model was so much fun and looks so good I ordered the limited edition Pearl Gloss version just to relive the excitement, and a display stand (which this kit does NOT come with, unlike the master grade line).

It's a great build for a great gundam, but some of the smaller joints(like the feathers) can be very loose, the shoulders clip on rather than sliding into an actual joint so they fall off easier than other kits(especially when trying to pose around the wings), but overall it's a great model and a fun build.

El modelo es tal cual se ve en la imagen, todo llegó súper bien. Sólo tuve un pequeño problema con la empresa de envíos, pero de resto el producto como tal es demasiado bueno. Me encantó.

I love this model, in my opinion the inner frame is meticulously detailed, enabling exceptional articulation. The smooth movement of the joints is complemented by the natural shifting of the armor plates, giving it a realistic, mechanical feel. Gundam Wing è una delle poche serie giunte fino in Italia e, sebbene rovinata da un doppiaggio atroce, ha regalato alcune immagini iconiche agli appassionati di anime giapponesi. Direttamente dall'OVA Endless Waltz, il Wing Zero Custom ė sicuramente uno dei Gundam più caratteristici, con le sue grandi ali angeliche. Il kit è di classica qualità Bandai, con pezzi ben profilati e incastri solidi. Imprescindibile tuttavia un minimo di conoscenza base sui Gunpla e gli strumenti necessari (tronchesi da modellismo e bisturi per rifiniture), nonché TANTA pazienza. La scala 1/144 implica pezzi molto piccoli e delicati, nonché microscopici adesivi che richiedono obbligatoriamente delle pinzette. Incantevole, ma non per principianti del modellismo. Pressoché obbligatorio l'acquisto di una basetta da posa (Action Base), in quanto le ali sbilanciano all'indietro il modellino.

Pretty cool, fun to build. I had never built any gunpla before now so this was my first, and I'm already addicted. Pretty cool kit if you like Wing Zero custom. Hands and head were kinda loose, but a bit of grey paint around the joints fixes that easily. Not too difficult to build either, just takes a bit of patience.
