The Camillus FK-7 Folding Knife features a 2.75" Carbonatite Titanium Non-Stick Blade made from quality AUS-8 Japanese Steel. The steel, bonded with Carbonatite Titanium, resists rust and corrosion and is up to 10x harder than untreated steel so the blade stays sharper, longer. The handle on this knife is intuitively ergonomic which is derided from a well balanced combination of Glass Filled Nylon (GFN) and Thermoplastic Rubber (TPR). The FK-7 offers unparalleled control with multiple jumping locations on the blade, jumping on the flipper and jumping on the handle. Additional features include: assisted open ball bearings, an oversized tab on the liner lock for easy, gloved-hand closure, a reversible pocket clip for left or right handed carry plus, a lanyard hole. Not that impressed.
Lock is small, hard to operate in gloves and placed so that the sharp edge of the blade closes onto the thumb your using to operate the lock.Exceptionally uncomfortable handle, OK for opening a box but not a whole room full of boxes. Certainly not for applying pressure with.Was delivered pretty blunt.On the positive side the blade opens easily.On balance it is not something I would chose to carry and use, I'll keep it as a back up and probably end up giving it away.
