Some people might not like it.But this book on me helped me a lot.Has a lot of good advice it’s easy to undertand and makes you want to know more and more .Personally l loved it !

If you are lucky you probably have read or heard the advise in this book. Every chapter provides something to meditate about and apply into your life in a simple and digestible way. Not much out of the ordinary, just good advice in easy prose.I think that that is why it is such a great read and a solid book to have at hand. Nowadays, good common sense advise is pretty hard to come by. Is invaluable to be reminded, every now and then, to keep our focus on what’s important. That there are no medals just for being good. That the best we can hope for is to reach the end of day, look in the mirror and know that we did the best we could with hand we got. Also, that tomorrow we need to do better.5 by 5, solid purchase

Despite a little delay, everything else is fine!

As a philosopher, I found this book to be almost banal in terms of how it understands Stoicism or their notion of discipline. Holiday's interpretation doesn't seem to account for the masochism involved. If you want to read empowering stories in the vain of pop psychology, this is Oprah for straight men, so go ahead. But if you actually want to learn about Stoicism maybe get something more serious or just read Marcus Aurelius - he writes better than Holiday and has a more nuanced understanding of Stoic ideas. I was happy to see a book on discipline and Stoicism but unfortunately this one isn't a book I could recommend.

Se nota la intencion que le puso el autor y la portada es muy buena, personalmente me gusta mas la portada de papel que tiene, pero la que tiene debajo no está nada mal, recomiendo forrar el libro
