Bought this to replace a blue digital clock that really annoyed us at night. The red glow is much pleasanter. Battery only, but far less faff than our previous one that was battery/mains. When that was on battery it only showed the time if pressed, but this little clock is on permanently. Time setting and alarm are very easy. It’s basic in terms of function but if you just want to see the time and have it wake you up, it’s great value. It’s also small enough to just pack in a bag for going away.

After having looked online at many alarm clocks this was the only one that seemed to have the option of a no snooze function. I don't want to have to go fiddling at the back of the clock to turn off the snooze once the alarm has gone off. This one has the option of not using the snooze so the alarm can just be turned off with the usual press on the top without worrying that it will be going off again - and again...I don't know why clock manufacturers think that everyone uses or needs a snooze function and surely it is not so difficult to have a knob at the back where it can be disabled for those who don't want to use it.Anyway I am happy with this one for that reason and so far it has worked fine.

I struggle to see my watch at night without spectacles so I bought this to go on my bedside table. The numerals are approximately 1" high by up to 5/8" wide and so are the perfect size to be seen quickly and easily in a dark room at well over arm's length. Not glaringly bright so just the right luminosity to be seen without having to turn a main light on. No mains electricity connection required, so just as good for taking when travelling abroad or even camping in the wild. The alarm has three, easy set modes, relatively quiet, Loud, or ranging from quiet to loud. Optional snooze button that is also easily set.

Really happy with this clock. So far I’m using it in a downstairs room where it’s an unobtrusive but easy-to-read timekeeper. But I chose it as an alarm clock with a gentle, red display that wouldn’t light the whole bedroom (surprisingly difficult to find) and I expect to use it in that capacity in the future. Easy to set up and looks good.

I am extremely happy with the purchase of my battery alarm clock. Easy to set up, bright face at night which is just what I wanted and a lovely neat shape. And the alarm can be Very loud!! A very good buy on my part, I highly recommend it to others. It also arrived very promptly and well packed

Of course you don't sleep with your glasses on, and if you want to check the time in the small hours you don't want to fumble about getting your glasses on. This has a display big enough so that I can read it without glasses. It auto dims so good for the darkened bedroom, and I find the red led display does not disturb my sleep. Exactly what I wanted.
