Hi . I have been using this charger with batteries for over two years now. WOW ! and WOWIE ! no need for Akaline's anymore. only one Double aa had actually died and would not charge. over the course of apx six months I tried to charge it off and on with it only holding a charge long enough to install and us it, less than a min. now it is holding a strong charge, been using it now without re-charging every evening for at least a year . I highly recommend this charger to all who are buying way too many Alkalines. over all service of this item is superior .

Charger works as it should. Love that you can charge only one battery at a time. My old one needed two at a time. Got this for the endless amount of batteries we need for kids toys. Would buy again

While the batteries are rechargeable, the battery life is rather short. Otherwise, it’s a pretty good alternative to traditional batteries.
