Good-quality strainer, and the size is perfect. The finish on the edges is really good, making it safe to use and clean. It is also very lightweight, which increases convenience. I love it!

I've needed one of these for so long and for the low price I don't know why I didn't get one sooner! This strainer is awesome. Nice wooden handle that feels sturdy to hold. The little feet at the end are a bit curved so I feel like it sits on a pot more securely than others I've had. It feels substantially built overall. I've drained stock, pasta noodles, canned beans and it's been fantastic and easy to clean. As far as size and capacity of what it can hold, I have fit 2 cans of 10 oz beans in the strainer at once to give you an idea. Good quality and great value.

This is a nice product. It is nice looking and does indeed strain the stuff you put in the wire-meshy portion (be sure to put the curve down or things will slide off). Two things: the wire bale should be stronger. You can overload it pretty easily. Also, the tabs for sitting on the rim of a bowl should be further towards the front. In my case t would allow me to put it across my small sink; it will also help if you want to put it across a square or rectangular dish. But still a pretty good product. Recommended with reservations.

I've have been needing a strainer for some time. This turned out larger than I expected so it's very easy to drain vegetables, rice, etc.

I ordered this because of the good reviews and figured it would similar to the my other strainer of the same size. Unfortunately it is surprisingly flimsy and feels like it could break or bend easily when full of pasta or other foods. It works fine for now, but I'm not sure how long it will last over time. Just a heads up if you're curious. It is not sturdy.
