I love it got it as Mother’s Day gift works great . Puts just enough tea or coffee to flavor .the trick is to make sure you don’t over fill and leave catch spaces open. To latch . High end teas to big ? Do what I do. Take a small jar and grind it down flavors better makes it easier to put it in flamingo and makes it last longer . Works great is so much fun highly reccomend as fun gift esp for flamingo lovers

Love this use it almost every day… only slight issue is that it doesn’t really hang on the rim but floats

Edit: The feet snapped off after one drop from about 3 feet high. I'd give this 0 stars if I could. Original review: Horrible design. I've had Fred brand tea strainers before (loved my silicone manaTea) so I bought this duck without looking at the duck-specific reviews. I completely agree with other reviewers- I can't imagine why they made this with flimsy latches instead of a screw top. The grooves in the plastic where the legs meet the body collect residue and look gross. Tea strainers don't normally need to be scrubbed after every use, but this one does. The photo shows the build up after three uses with good rinsing in between. I admit that after three uses the latches are holding for me, so I still have a functional strainer. But I truly have no faith that I'll get to keep using it for long. It looks adorable floating in tea, and if I thought it would last me even just one year I'd be okay with it. But I think I will need to repurpose the plastic top into a fridge magnet or something pretty soon.

I love this goofy little thing, but the screw cap does not fit securely and the well isn't deep enough to accommodate higher end teas. Why would high end tea leaves be relegated to a cheap infuser in the shape of a floating flamingo, you ask? Live a little, that's why. If this had a deeper tea well and a more secure means of attachment, this would be excellent. Sometimes, I just float this in my cup without tea, just to have something a little odd and amusing.

I purchased this for my daughter’s extensive tea collection and we’ve really enjoyed it. Clever design, easy to fill, easy to clean. Cute as heck. Does the intended job of steeping tea. It is pretty big, so you’ll need to use it in a bigger mug.

The tea strainer is designed to twist and lock into place. Unfortunately, mine wont lock. The pieces separate as soon as the strainer is placed in the water, and i end up having to pour my tea through a mesh strainer from my kitchen to separate the leaves. I suspect its due to the metal strainer “bottom” piece is just pliable enough to warp away from the top part of the strainer

I got this tea steeper for a friend for Christmas and she absolutely loved it! She was so excited and said it had been on her wish list for a while. I forgot to take a picture of it before I gifted it to her but it’s absolutely adorable. It looks just like the picture online and it really does look like a pool float! It makes the perfect gift for a fun loving tea lover.

I bought it for my daughter who loved the shape but the metal basket holding the tea does not attach firmly to the pink plastic top. She has stopped using it. Wish I’d read the negative reviews as many are reporting the same issue.

It does not hold much tea leaves nor does it close properly. It's cute if you like drinking tea leaves.
