easy to use and accurate
I recently got the RGBS Salinity Refractometer for testing seawater and salt solutions, and I have to say, I'm really impressed! Right out of the box, it feels well-made and sturdy, which was a pleasant surprise. Using it is pretty straightforward. The maker included clear instructions, which helped me set it up without any fuss. All I had to do was place a few drops of the seawater on the prism and look through the lens to get the reading. The scale is easy to read, and I was able to take measurements quickly. It felt like a science experiment without being complicated, which is right up my alley. One thing I particularly appreciated was how accurate the readings appeared to be. I compared it with a few other sources, and it seemed spot on! As someone who enjoys marine life and occasionally considers saltwater aquariums, it gives me peace of mind knowing I can keep track of salinity properly. In terms of maintenance, it's also quite easy to clean—just a quick rinse after use, and it’s good to go. Works well for the money can buy a more expensive one but this does the trick.

Cheap but inaccurate
Saltwater (brine) not Seawater and not very accurate at all. Save £15 and buy one for reef keeping 0-40ppm this goes to 100ppm and is very inaccurate even once calibrated and hard to read for an aquarium. Buy once and spend the extra.
