Pros: ● Easy to clean glass platform - no recessed display window to fill with debris. ● Accurate - to nearest gram at low masses, less than half a percent error at high masses. ● Not sensitive to uneven surfaces - even putting a 1 cm wedge under just one of the four feet changed the reading by less than half a percent. ● Can be zeroed mid-weighing and shows negative mass when weight removed - useful for adding a series of ingredients with mixing in-between (some balances I've known let you zero mid-weighing, but reset the zero when the weight is removed - no good if you lift your bowl to do a quick whisk). ● Takes two easy-to-find AAA batteries (not the flat coin-style batteries of some scales) ● Touch sensitive controls very responsive, both to light touch and short press. ● Slimline and lightweight - easy to store upright in a cupboard. Cons: ● Units change switch on underside - can't change units mid-weighing. If the units button had been a touch sensitive button in the front it would have been perfect. Of interest: ● Display automatically changes from grams (g) to kilograms (kg) when 10 kg is reached. ● See the three photos I've posted with a ruler for scale. ● Although rated as 15 kg capacity, they will actually read up to 15.72 kg. ● As you might be able to tell, I'm a bit of a technogeek and like a good set of kitchen scales :-)

Having bought much cheaper electronic scales in the last few years, (which were ok) when the last set broke after 14 months use, I decided to do some research and invest in some quality scales and came across these. Lots of reading of reviews and I was convinced I'd found the perfect scales - I was not disappointed! These are the best scales I have ever owned. They are heavy duty and can take the weight of a very large Pyrex glass bowl on top. The scales are very easy to use, are accurate and only require a wipe on the surface to clean. Yes, they are more expensive than the ones from China but they are so worth the extra pennies! Just remember the old saying "... buy cheap, buy twice ..." I would say they are not ridiculously expensive and will be within most people's budget. Love mine and wish I'd bought them sooner. Highly recommended and should I require a replacement any time in the future, will definitely look to buy these again.

These scales look lovely and seem very good quality, nice large size platform enough to take a large bowl without covering the display which is what you need if you are weighing up to 15kg, unusual to find a scale that will weigh up to this level in such small increments of 1g, and nice and slim too, the hold function were you can weigh something large, which covers the display but when the item is removed it still shows the weight for 10 seconds is ideal. the only thing about them i would like is if the switch to change from grams to ounces was on the top of the scale and not underneath, if it was on the top you could easily convert from one measure to the other its sometimes interesting to see what grams are actually convert to when weighed in ounces and vice versa, if like me you are still used to the old fashion 1lbs and ounces, its not easy to automatically know what that is in grams and if the button was on the top rather than underneath it would be easy to convert. one other point it would be nice if like some other scales they also had conversions on for ml and fluid ounces, the salter digital scales i also have measure in 1lbs and ounces, grams, ml and fluid ounces, but unfortunately the downside with the salter scales is the tiny platform even though they are supposed to weigh up to 5kg, and they dont have a hold function. anyway overall i am glad i bought them.

Just received it, and before anything else - I like it very much and I definitely recommend it. Took me some time to decide on a scale and this one seem to be just fine. I played with it for a while to test it and here's my conclusion: What I like: * I like the top glass and the touch area which are responsive - there top is a single piece so no danger of liquids inside the device * Came with two AAA batteries - no CR2302 expesive buttons * Tested with different weights and seem to be consistent and precise * Looks solid enough What I don't like: * The HOLD function is not very intuitive, as you have to open the device, press 3 seconds the HOLD then weight. Some other scales just simply holds the value for 5 seconds automatically - without requiring additional buttons. But that's just a minor thing. * The top glass is very nice, but the back looks a little bit cheap plastic * At this price I was expecting Made in Germany, instead it's made in China

I can't rate these kitchen scales highly enough. Sleek design which is a breeze to clean. Accurate and so easy to use. Highly recommended. Yes they cost more than many other brands but these are worth it.

Works really well, except the glue between the glass top and the plastic body allows the glass platform to slide off after a while. This is the second one I've bought, thinking we had done something wrong with it, but it is definitely a materials' problem. The black bar on the left in the display is the distance the glass has moved to the right. Update 9 months later they have simply fallen apart. Shocking to find they are stuck together auf double-sided tape!

I am a fan of Soehnle kitchen scales although it is one of the few electrical products I have owned where one has 'died' on me - I am a careful user and many things seems to last for ever. I replaced the black glass scale with a metal scale - not as pretty and with a slightly more complex offering, including the ability to measure liquids (although I'm not sure how exact this is - I know 1 litre of water weighs a kilogram but does the same apply to milk?). I was pleased to be offered the 67080 scale which will a max of 15Kg and is 26cm by 20cm. This is really useful as you can put quite a big pot of the scale and still see the display as you add different quantities of things into it - not being able to see the display is the main thing I find frustrating about a flat scale. I think Soenhle would want me to say there is a hold function, so when you weigh something where you can't see the display, you can take the item being weighed off and the display will hold the value for a bit. I have liked this so much I bought another one for a friend. Both scales came with 2 AAA batteries in the box.

Ha dei comodi e abbastanza reattivi pulsanti touch. Ha anche una grande superficie, che è perfetta per pesare grandi quantità di cibo. La bilancia è inoltre facile da usare, con un display chiaro e semplice. Ha anche la funzione "hold" che è molto comoda quando si pesano oggetti molto voluminosi (vedi il video). Ha inoltre la funzione di tara, che permette di azzerare il peso del contenitore, in modo da poter pesare solo il cibo. Questo è molto utile quando si cucina, perché mi permette di pesare facilmente gli ingredienti senza dover rimuovere il contenitore dalla bilancia o usare più contenitori. Viene alimentata con delle batterie ministilo Conclusioni: Nel complesso, sono molto soddisfatto del prodotto. È una bilancia precisa, facile da usare e con una grande superficie di pesatura. La consiglio a tutti coloro che cercano una bilancia da cucina di qualità

Scale does not work properly . The scale malfunctions if you try to zero it with something on it , which is not acceptable for this brand..

Vi har hunnit testa många köksvågar genom åren och denna sticker ut som den absolut bästa vi haft. Den är väldigt exakt i mätvärdet, pålitlig, robust och stabil. Älskar att man inte behöver känna sig stressad när man använder den då det går väldigt många minuter innan den stänger av sig automatiskt vid inaktivitet. Detta är så viktigt för oss då t.ex. ett helt bak kan bli förstört om vågen stänger av sig när man håller på att tillsätta ingredienser i bunken. Detta har hänt flera gånger med andra vågar vi haft. Kunde räcka med att någon av barnen kom och behövde hjälp, och innan man hade hjälpt färdigt så hade vågen stängt av sig själv. Bra display. Displayen hade kunnat vara belyst, men det är inget som jag någon gång saknat. Så länge man inte står i ett mörkt rum så är det lätt att avlägsna den.
