Good quality, great brand
Once a year or every other year, we replace these because the water in south florida is just so foul. It starts leaking from the sides. I can only imagine how much gunk this filter system keeps out of my system. Great unit, I'd love a kit with 4 or 5 filters so I could just get a new kit every year. These are fantastic for keeping chemicals, bacteria and funk out my water. The water actually tastes better

love it just had difficulty getting it on right
at first, I could not get this thing on right every time I would turn the water on to full blast The filter would pop off, but my maintenance man was able to get it on there correctly and it’s great. I live in a city where the water is hard and I’m a big water person. I don’t like to use plastic water bottles, but this Britta filter is great. I like that It has the option to have filtered and unfiltered. I use this filter and then that water goes through my Britta pitcher and that works great for me but even with this faucet The only downside is that if you have a small little kitchen sink, it can get in the way and it does splash so if you have the water on and it’s filtering, it will splash

Simple, Easy, Needs Regular Maintenance
This is a great system, overall. It works well and has good pressure through a new filter. As the removable and replaceable filters start to clog up, water pressure slows down and you'll see when it's time for a new one. I've been through just six filter cartridges since December 2015. (That's 18 months, or about three months of use per filter.) I had two issues with it: 1. The plastic adapters that come in the box didn't fit and stay in my sink. Under high pressure, the plastic popped out of the partially stripped threading. I called Brita (1-800-24-BRITA) and they sent me the right metal adapter. 2. After about 18 months, the filter started to leak around the adapter and the aerator. I'm not sure if this has to do with the filter not being resilient to the faucet moving around, or if it warped from hot water running through it. Brita won't replace it because it's out of warranty. Luckily, it's cheap enough to buy a new one. Overall, it's a good filter, so I'll probably just get another one. Be gentle with yours if you do buy one.

Heed the 1-star warnings. Cheap junk. Damaged my faucet.
Wanted a filter to appease my feelings about drinking the ingredients in tap water, and found this on a search. Saw the 5 star reviews and was like, boom. Ordered. Hardly read much besides 5 min of the front page, maybe page 2 of reviews. I’m an idiot. I wish so much that I hadn’t ordered and had listened to the 1 star reviews. First of all, if you really really research water purification (which I admittedly did not), you will learn and gain knowledge on how you’re wasting time and money on this kind of system. But the actual product review: Installed just fine, literally a 5 min installation. Ripped open the package, unscrewed the little thing off the faucet and voila. Turned it on! Water did taste drastically different! I really liked it. The water pressure was a bit wonky coming out of such a small concentrated spout on the thing itself, but I just lived with it and just always adjusted and turned down the faucet. After a few months, the indicator turned red, replaced it, just fine. Kept working, for another month or so. Gradually, this is what happened to my faucet: When you’re using it, it is kind of a bulky piece. It might not seem so looking at the dimensions but it definitely is kind of a honking thing on the end of your faucet. When you use it, you twist a knob on the side on the filter. So, there is constant use and very slight pressure on the most outward head of your faucet, not great for point of pressure to be consistently being touched. I don't understand coming from a physics standpoint how you would actually design something like this without fear of leaks with the weight distribution. We rent our house but the faucet itself and kitchen is new (2014 bought) Moen faucet now leaks from the base of the faucet from the use of this filter. At least I’m blaming that because we never had a problem before and I HATE this stupid thing. When I started noticing the leaking from the base of the faucet, I didn’t hate this thing yet, I just thought ah, well the faucet’s weird it’s 2 years old, I don’t know anything about faucets blah blah, it must need tightening or something (I’m an idiot) so I put in a work order and asked the landlord to come look at it. Then, no joke, a week later, the filter totally soaked and sprayed the kitchen from the base of the filter. Still, being dumb, I thought the filter was just loose for whatever reason. And maybe it got hit with a pan or something, and got something is off in there. Taking it apart and readjusting didn’t work so I bought another filter. The same thing happened. Then the landlord handyman came to look at the leaky faucet, and basically told me I was an idiot for having one of these “contraptions” and they’re completely made 100 percent of plastic. He was kind enough to help an old lady out and take it apart and basically say, ma’am. You’re wrecking your faucet (and by the way, not my faucet-we rent) and to take it off and “get ur money back from wally world” and showed me pieces of stripped dollar store quality plastic and how the connections were just cheap junk. Wish I could take this back, kind dude. I hate this thing. I do have one pro though: you are able to throw it in your recycle bin after the 1-3 month lifespan! All plastic! : )

Healthier living with Brita
This dandy little water filter will save me oodles of money from all the bottled water I have purchased over the years. Plus I no longer have to deal with recycling. Yeah, on that. And I like that it's small and doesn't take up a lot of room in the kitchen sink. It taste okay (for plain water) and I feel safe knowing the filter will keep contaminants out of my body. I'm glad I bought it and highly recommend this product for healthier living. UPDATE: 19 Feb 2023 I've been using this Brita close to one month. Now, in the past week, it has dripped water from the regular faucet side when I have the filtered faucet side on. And the water looks cloudy and leaves a frosted residue in bottom of my glass pot. I've cleaned the pot with a solution of white vinegar and water. But I shouldn't have to do that every two weeks. That's nuts. I'm going to try a different washer and see if that clears up the leak problem. If not, I'll need to contact the company and maybe return the product.

Works for a bit but then starts to fail like planned obsolescence
I think I have an older version of what's on this page because mine did not have any battery power. Anyway I bought this product Oct 2022 and I have been using it since then. Like most reviews on here have indicated this thing does not lat long, separate from the fact that you have to replace the filters every 3 months which I think is standard, the actual filter faucet mount thing is not durable. It works perfectly with no leaking around the adaptor for the first 6 months to a year but after that it starts to leak around the faucet, and drips. It's manageable since I obviously kept using it but then suddenly today it completely just leaks right around the adaptor spilling water everywhere. Forget filtering. It's obviously made not to last, planned obsolescence it seems... It was easy to install though. Anyway I am not on the market for a new filter since this thing couldn't last and based on this experience I think I will be trying a different brand than Brita this time for a better value

Best water filter for the money. Period.
This is the second unit I’ve purchased and I appreciate the ease of installation and replacement of the filters. One push of the button and the filter pops up. A note for the inexperienced and those that don’t like to read: wet the rubber gaskets on the replacement filter before you install it. Also, for those that think the filter lasts exactly 100 gallons, please read the instructions! The filter has a certain capacity and if your water is dirtier than most, the number of gallons filtered goes down. This thing is awesome!
