Globby

Originally wanted a nee-doh cube for fidgeting but ofc tiktok and resellers have to ruin it for literally everyone. So, until the hype on those dies down, because I sure as heck am not paying 2-3x its original price for one and especially not from no third party sellers, I decided to try globby to see how it compares. The first hour, I was disappointed because of how dense it felt compared to the needoh, it almost felt less satisfying because of the lack of bounce back. Decided I'd try it for a few days and return it if my mind didn't change. Turns out where the needoh is great for just mindless squishing, I found myself reaching for globby more often than the needoh ball the last 2 days I've had it. I've literally been sleeping with it in my hand as it's easy to hold because of its shape. And beecause it's a harder, denser version of needoh (if needoh were a balloon filled up with fresh Elmer's glue, globby is a nearly dried up Elmer's glue version) it's also great for releasing pent up tension while you're fidgeting. I have combined ADHD and OCD related repetitive habits so it's good for that hyperactive aspect of fidgeting where you want to randomly get up and punch something and that tension release for OCD. Once in a while I'll pick up the needoh if my grip needs a break or I just want to compare them but it's been largely left ignored on my desk with my stress ball and other fidget toys. Currently writing this review while intermittently squeezing globby. Heh...

Was great. My daughter loved it. Bought it in August 2021, not sure if it was supposed to stay in a package when not in use but she kept it in a bin with all of her other sensory/fidget toys but this schilling Globby dried out, outside still rubbery but crunchy and stiff on the inside. Maybe it just got old? Either way it was great while it lasted, first sensory she did not accidentally rip.

The best way to use this to relieve stress is to throw it at the person who is causing you stress. Aim for the back of the head when they're not expecting it, the screams and reactions are a bit extra, but entertaining nonetheless!

His face didn’t last long but it’s a good toy. My 10 year old loves it!

I have not opened it yet. I’m giving as a gift to my grandson. I know he will love it. I like how it’s just the right size not to big not to small. It’s adorable

Fun to use. Great for the fidgety person. It did however get hard and stiff after a couple years.
