WPT-191 New Engine Water Pump with Gasket - Compatible with Select Lexus ES300h Toyota Avalon, Camry

The swap-out was easy. A new gasket comes in the box!! Based on research and trying to find the best price on this water pump, Amazon was the clear winner with the average from 5 different major chains at well over $350, with one at over $700. Absurd. The stator on my old water pump had siezed up and threw a code: P261B - Coolant Pump "B" Control Circuit Range/Performance This code refers to the engine water pump, not the hybrid inverter water pump. Anyway, I had to drain the coolant from the engine, remove the lower plastic shrouds (10mm) and one panel from the upper part of the passenger wheel well to access all 5 12mm bolts holding the water pump on. You'll want approximately 3 inches of clearance around the socket to turn your ratchet adequately, so you may need an extension or deep-well socket. Once the water pump is loose, you'll have about 12oz of additional coolant leak out, so be prepared for that. Ensure the new gasket is seated comfortably into the new unit and Install the new water pump. Tighten the bolts to 25lbs. You might consider changing out the upper and lower radiator hoses and the coolant temperature sensor since you're here.

After get installed engine light doesn't came on. I highly recommend this product
