When I came across this deck I was drawn to it, the alternative artwork and colours. When it arrived I wasn't disappointed. I wondered if I would feel the same when they were in my hands. Firstly, the box, I like it, it is a proper box with top and bottom rather than one unit. The box was cellophane sealed and wasn’t damaged in transit. On opening the box, it feels nice, it’s matt smooth, thick and sturdy. The guidebook included is good quality, black and white with a good amount of detail of the light and dark explanations of each card with a small sentence encapsulating the meaning of that card at the end. It also has some ideas of alternative card spreads and information on how to use the cards.The cards themselves feel nice, are deeply rich and vibrantly colourful. I love the artwork which is alternative, diverse and intuitive, it really depicts what each card represents so they are very good and easy to read. I am absolutely loving this deck and I connected with them straight away.

The art work on this deck is gorgeous. Suited to a tarot reader who is balanced in accepting both light and dark because to be a light worker you must also work with the shadows. Too much light blinds just as much as too much darkness, and what I love about this deck is even the cards that are the scariest for people such as the three of swords, the message behind them is not so much warning with fear, but more so asking the seeker to be aware of themselves and their own patterns in that type of situation, especially if that is a common theme in the seeker’s life. These cards are designed to focus on encouraging the seeker to acknowledge the pattern and where they play their part in it, which aides in cycle breaking, conscious behaviour changes and healing. There are also affirmations and questions in the book that comes with them for each card that can either confirm that the seeker is on the right path, or show them where they may be moving towards old or current habits that have caused them to seek spiritual help in the first place. They can also be used for divination, asking specific questions etc. The images aren’t scary either. Some seekers of knowledge & truth see a death card and immediately feel fearful because it’s often depicted as a skeleton etc, however in this deck this represented by a cloaked figure with the universe as it’s face. Less fear provoking and closer to the true meaning of the death card - the ending of one chapter of your life and therefore the beginning of the next, and how each new chapter is a new you, as the previous one will have changed something within you, no matter ho big or small. Quite possibly the most balanced deck I’ve ever seen and owned.
