Great Quality Product & Does The Job
I had to buy new Fiskar Pruning Shears as mine finally died after fifteen+ years of use (and thats just my use). They were my dadโs prior to me having them and they were quite old (my dad didnโt getvrid of things) and he took great care of them, prior to giving them to me. I love the Fiskarโs brand as theyโre exceptionally made and donโt cost an arm and a leg. If you take care of the shears, and yes even with frequent use, theyโll last many years and do a spectacular job pruning bushes, shrubs and limbs from trees, etc. I prune everything from succulents, Pygmy Palms, limbs from our Crepe Myrtle Tree, etc (these shears are amazing)! I love these shears as the grip is solid in my hand, itโs got an easy locking and unlocking mechanism, itโs a perfect fit in oneโs hand and they cut the first time when you go to trim a plant, limb, shrub, etc (theyโre quite sharp and strong), allowing one to trim things in your yard. Iโm a firm believer that tools, etc should be store out of the sun and the elements to preserve the life of the items. I have a Garden Cart with a bucket inside it that I store my gloves, Fiskarโs Shears, along with my other gardening/yard tools. When Iโm not gardening I store the Garden Cart with all my gardening tools in our Tuff Shed keeping all my treasured yard tools out of the elements so theyโll last for many years.

Satisfied Customer
PROS: It's solid. I've been using it for heavy-duty work for 5 months now, and it has held up well. With some force and creativity, I've cut branches 1-2 inches thick, even though that is probably pushing it beyond what it is designed for. I should probably get a bigger one for larger branches. I've also tried hitting branches with it, and it surprisingly works well as a makeshift hammer too! It's easy to hold and use, and it is relatively lightweight, which makes longer gardening sessions easier. CONS: The grips slide down easily, which can get annoying during use. It also tends to get stuck sometimes, especially when cutting thicker branches. There is some rust starting to appear, but that may be my fault since I leave them outside in the rain. The self-cleaning sap groove helps, but basic maintenance and keeping them dry would probably extend their life. Overall, this is a solid pair of pruning shears for everyday gardening tasks. It has handled more abuse than I expected, but if you regularly cut larger branches, you may want to go with a larger tool.

My favorite pruning sheers!
These are durable, sharp, easy to use, and my favorite pruning sheers. Whenever I need new ones (usually because I misplace them), I always come back to these! Mine have never rusted. I clean them with rubbing alcohol. The handle length is comfortable and works for many sizes of hands in my experience. Definitely a must have.

Sharp performance and reliable brand quality
Performance and Value These pruning shears deliver the high level of performance and sharp cutting edge that is expected from a reputable brand like Fiskars. They make clean and precise cuts through branches up to the rated capacity without stalling or tearing the wood. The value is excellent because they provide professional grade sharpness at a price point that is accessible for any home gardener. Design and Build Quality The build quality is remarkably solid and follows the consistent standard of the brand. The blades are nice and sharp right out of the packaging and the mechanical action is smooth. The handles are designed for a comfortable grip, which helps reduce hand fatigue during extended sessions in the yard. It is clear that these are built to be a durable and long term addition to a tool collection. My Verdict These shears are a great investment for anyone needing a sharp and reliable tool for yard maintenance because they combine consistent brand quality with a very effective cutting design.

Fiskars Pruner Steals The Show.
I truly believe that all individuals that own a home should have this tool in their arsenal. Itโs probably one of the best tools Iโve ever used. Beware!! The cutting blades are sharpe and will cut. Great Ergonomics. Iโve left my tool by accident and it didnโt rust. The Fiskars fully backs their tool. I had one that was finally operational. They replaced it without any issues. Full Lifetime Warranty. Great tool backed by a great company. Itโs is truly worth the money I spent.

Good for small tree limbs
For a low price tool I thought it functioned really well. I was able to trim the limbs from trees that were hitting me in the head and driving me crazy! Done deal! Great tool!!

A good quality tool if you want reliable performance
I already own a pair of Fiskars PowerArc scissors that have performed consistently well for me throughout the years so when my pruners broke I decided to try the brand. I bought this pair simply because as it turns out, they were the #1 best seller and the price. I couldnโt be happier! Iโve been using them for a few weeks now and have been cutting through a variety of woody, and non-woody stems measuring maybe an 1 inch or less diameter with ease: small/underdeveloped tree branches (elm, bougainvillea & crape myrtle), vines (smilax/greenbriar/wisteria/morning glory) and any other undesirable growths that have sprung up. I have small hands and weak wrists so I appreciate the light weight and not having to apply a great amount of force when cutting. Other things I like: 1. The blades are super sharp and the handles are comfortable enough for better maneuverability when working in hard-to-reach or tight spots. 2. The cuts have all been consistently clean & sharp so less chance of disease from a torn/shredded/ragged improper cut and better chances of a faster healing time. 3. There is better edge retention with high quality steel blades so it requires less frequency to sharpen your blades and less chance of working with dull blades during the season. Granted, itโs based on volume but I hope to sharpen only once during a season. I admit it. I hate sharpening blades and that makes me guilty of using a dull blade longer than I should. Time will tell on this pair. 4. The locking mechanism works as it should and is bright orange which makes it easy to see, store & operate. 5. Nice touch having the self-cleaning sap groove that in addition to stopping the blades from sticking, will aid in the prevention of bacteria transmission from plant to plant. 6. Coil/spring failure has been my biggest issue with pruners in the past. - They rust, spring out, lock in place, donโt have pressure etc. They are a fix and repair daily while pruning project. They have turned a simple task into one of the most frustrating projects on the planet. The Fiskars has no visible coils or springs, theyโre housed inside the unit and function smoothly like shock absorbers on a car. So far, working without malfunctions has allowed me to develop a rhythm and get more accomplished without straining my wrist. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the performance, quality, and price. Getting rid of all the other pairs. I also noticed that these are the only pruners I have with their name etched on it. Definitely 5 stars!!! -P.S. These come with a lifetime guarantee.
