Very helpful for all the Ayurveda and yoga practitioners

I found the books of Mukunda Stiles some years ago, and they have greatly informed my teaching and practice of Yoga. This book on Ayurvedic Yoga therapy is full of knowledge and is also very practical and easy to use. Mukunda offers a clear understanding of the doshas and how Yoga practice can support and bring balance to the different dosha types. This teachers background of depth and wisdom shines through. Highly recommend to any teacher or practitioner who would like a good understanding of Yoga and Ayurveda and how to bring them together.

I love this book. I have followed the sequences for various Dosha imbalances and found them effective. I feel this book brings me to the heart of yoga. The publication of the book needs some editing as one point mentions a posture 'as seen to the right' but there is no image so this must have been for another publication. For all that, it is unpolished and not trying to prove anything!

What a great book, I teach Classical Hatha Yoga and as such also have an interest in Ayurveda, simply because when I did my training in India they also had an Ayurvedic Doctor and Clinic within the Ashram grounds. This book is not only explaining the very deep subject matter of Yoga with ease but also Ayurveda as well. Mukunda Stiles, definately knows his stuff. The asanas for specific doshas is brilliant and I have already incorporated a couple of the series into my class, because they have a good flow to them....Brilliant book.

A very comprehensive book. We use the movements in our class, so it's helpful to be able to follow them at home too. It covers a range of topics.

Love the principles of Ayurveda and Yoga so was really happy to find a book that represented them both but sadly I did not like this books lay out at all. I dip in occasionally but not a book that I would recommend.
