Deceptively simple, yet invaluable.
A seemingly simple, yet apparently rare adapter. Countless HDMI->VGA adapters, but VGA->HDMI adapters are hard to find. But when you need one to solve a problem, it's practically priceless. Dead simple to use, and worked the first time. At least for me. If you're in the situation I was in, trying to get different generations of gear to "play nice" with each other, this may be just what you're looking for. It was for me.

Easy to set up, manufactured quality is excellent and the item works as advertised.
This product worked well at first asking and the picture on an older Samsung monitor was improved with the HDMI connection.

does the job, may not last long term. I bought this one to replace a previous model of the same time. Cables all fit well and seems to make a snug connection.

Adapter does the job: Great Product!
Conveniently plugs into my HDMI port of my PC, so that I can plug my VGA monitor cable from the monitor to the adapter. Gold-plated makes it corrosion resistant and makes it more durable. I used it for my first PC. Had to get another Adapter because I had to install another VGA monitor alongside: to make it dual monitors. Great product!

Works with old ATI Radeon card and Thinkpad T440p
I am able to get 1920x1080 consistently through this adapter when connected through a KVM switch. Works with old computer: Dell Vostro 200 with a ATI Radeon X300/X550/X1050 series graphics card. Also works with Lenovo T440p laptop. An alternate brand (Vention) did not work as consistently with the ATI Radeon, but this adapter works fine.

Was exactly what we ordered, did not work as we thought it would , we're trying to hook up an older monitor to a newer laptop,

I have an Compaq 7550, I can set it to 1280 x 1024 @ 75hz with this adapter and it looks great, though I prefer 1280 x 960 for a true 4:3 experience. I tested the adapter and it displayed 1920 x 1080 @ 59.94Hz, though it flickers a bit, but that is probably old CRT issues. I could also do 1024 x 768 @ 85Hz. So I'd say this adapter works as advertised.

This HDMI to VGA adapter works exactly as expected. It was easy to connect and worked right away with my computer and monitor. The signal is stable and the picture quality is clear with no flickering. The build feels solid, and the gold-plated connector is a nice touch. Great value and no issues so far.
