These bulbs are the real deal, and produce those nice warm colors I remember seeing as a kid in the 90's.

I love the old fashioned C9 lights. A few of the neighbors and I have kept the traditions alive using the Multi Colored C9’s. They are way less temperamental and very easy to take care of. Sure they are not as economical and or environmentally friendly as the LED’s; however the holidays only come around once a year and I don’t notice that much of an increase in my electric bill (using 15 strands). I will mention that my lights are only on 12 hours a day. I use timers to control all of the power to the lights. Also, I would mention that you should be mindful of the number of strands you are trying to connect to each other. Most of these lights are limited to two strands for safety reasons (i.e. two much power drawn will blow the fuses built into the lights). Next pay close attention to how many strands you intend on plugging into your outlet and how much power that outlet can take. Most of the homes in our area will have 20amp GFI’s with all weather boxes mounted to the side of the house. Take note that if you have several boxes around the outside of your house; they are most likely on the same circuit. 20amp’s is quite a bit of power for Christmas lights even C9’s; however if you have other holiday items you will be connecting you should remember not to exceed the power rating on the plug. Because I use these for outside I always cover my power connections. I used to use packing rap and tape; however I have moved to weatherproof indoor outdoor electrical cord connection boxes (sokitbox found on Amazon or Safety Seal Water Resistant Cord Cover by Hot Headz found on Amazon, also Home Depot has the Mini Safety Seal’s but made by a different company); I am sure there are other brands and types out there; however the ones I listed fit my needs the best. The goal is to keep the water out of the connections so you don’t have blown lights and or GFI. All of the items I listed above have some sort of water resistant barrier built in. This will save you a lot of hassle during the season. This review has digressed a bit from the actual review of the product so let me get to directly to it. I am a heavy user of the C9 bulbs most of my strands are made by Celebrations lighting; however I have been purchasing my replacement bulbs from Novelty Lights, INC. This is my third season purchasing from Novelty and I am very pleased with both the product at the service they are providing. Novelty also seems to have the best prices at least at the time I am reviewing this. I paid just under $6 per box of 25 multi colored bulbs through Amazon.

These C9 ceramic bulbs fit properly and work as expected. Colors look so much better than the LEDs and they’re solid replacements for outdoor Christmas lights. It's real glass ceramic so be careful not to drop them.

What's to say, they're good old traditional frosted bulbs. I order several boxes of various colors and the reds showed up with some broken, crushed glass in the Amazon box etc. It's as if the bulbs were broken in the package before being packed. They're bulbs, they break. Unfortunately I needed every one, but I also needed more, so I have more, plus extra, ordered again. A few of the bulbs appear to have gotten shorted on the frosted part, so I'll replace a few of those. It's just very thin that you may not notice until they come on and you're looking at the element glowing inside. Again, they cheap bulbs that we can't live without, until someone finally comes out with frosted LED's!!! I just converted my whole house to LED and it's amazing how well LED's look, just like soft white light. No reason to not be able to do that with these bulbs. These in LED are funky faceted, clear with weird colors for more $ each than regular bulbs. That last part is just a primer for the world to begin to rise up and demand, frosted LED C9 Christmas lights so we can keep our early winter electric meters from spinning so fast they glow. It's not a festive holiday glow either. ;^)

Perfect for my old style Xmas lights. The stores do not have yellow bulbs included in the packs you buy. I love the extra color these add to my C9 string. Will be buying them in the C7 size!

Exactly what I wanted. Arrived on time. Pls keep manufacturing these. 2025 was first year I couldn't find them in retail stores. Govt and corporations are phasing them out and want us to switch to LED outdoor Xmas lights, but I don't like LED's. Long live multicolored C9 ceramic bulbs! Thank you.

My old string of Xmas tree lights, over 50 years old now looks cleaner and brighter. Hard to find these old style bulbs. They’re great.

Nice bulbs and a decent price. They showed up on time but 2 bulbs in the case were broken.
