Is this similar to the original Ungaro that used to come in the purple bottle from the 90's?

Not sure. I started buying this because I used U by Ungaro from Avon a while back. I can sAY when I wear this I get lots of compliments! Very classy scent. Reminds me of walking thru upscale department store fragrance area.
