Groomer’s Goop Pre-Bath Pet Degreaser (28 oz)

Beagles shed constantly. I shampooed my dog and was amazed at how much hair came off, leaving him smelling great, his fur very soft and at least for a couple of days no hair falling off from him when petting him. I bought to help his stud tail but the first bath didn't make a dent to getting it to heal. Maybe it takes several applications. We will see with next bath. Still I love how clean and fresh he smells and how soft he is now. Beagles are pretty clean most of the time but he rolled in something that did not smell very good! This stuff got rid of all smells including the wet dog smells. I live this stuff.

This works so well for my dog. She has a very greasy tail and it immediately becomes white and clean again.

Pretty goopy stuff. Seems to work, but washing cats is a risky activity. Requires thorough rinsing. I will probably be returning this, unless I work up the courage to attempt again.

Works really well for my short haired box that always seems oily. Rinses clean and allows shampoo to work so much better. Will be buying again.

The product is very very very thick. Though the instruction said to use a generous amount, I would suggest not doing that. Loosen it up a bit in a different bowl with some water before applying to coat. I had followed as instructed on the bottle, however it is very hard to get off. I had to ladder with shampoo more than three times to get off the groop off my Maine Coon’s fur. Which defeats the purpose of using this groop in the first place. Other than that note, I would consider this a good product for long haired cats and dogs. I do see a difference in the texture of the fur after the first use. One con that I would say about this product would be that the smell is very strong smell of rubber. Does not go away even after shampooing. I guess you just can’t have it all.

I honestly wasn’t expecting much from this but thought it was worth a try. It removed the sap from my dogs fur. He still doesn’t like baths but this stuff works!

This was great . My dog had stains on his paw from licking it . It was almost like tear stains or rust. I tried everything and nothing worked. I finally got this and got around to using this and it was great! I also used some whitening shampoo, just amazing.

I used this on a purebred Australian Blus Healer. Although it did seem to work well and her white was less dingy looking after using the "goop" I felt like a clarifying product might have been a better result. She still felt greasy, is the word that comes to mind. Over all it did what was promised. Also the product doesn't go as far as I had hoped. Seemed to take a large amt of product to really work it through her fur. I do plan on buying another jar of it to try on my cats.

This product I use on my long hair Scotish folds and British long hair cats. It absolutely does what is sais! Difficult areas such as around ears, chin, greesy stud tail...However, needs to be used with other same range products such as shampoo and conditioner to win in a show for best grooming!

Very good

My elderly, neutered cat developed stud tail out of nowhere. When used as per the instructions (letting it sit, washing it off etc) this works to solve it for a few months until he has to be washed again. Great product.
