I bought it as a drum for use at football games. It makes a good loud bass sound when used with 2 mallets. As other reviewers have mentioned, the strap is not very good. If you intend to walk or march with it, then the strap will be no good for you. But you cannot complain too much, given the price.

Great price for the child for a 1st drum. Strap doesn't stay on the way it's meant to so has to b clipped on else where and then it works grand

Pour le prix ça passe mais.. A bricoler pour ne pas avoir de bruit de résonance version casseroles métallique.. Ajout d'élastique etc.. timbre à bidouiller mais pour apprendre ça va..

Das Ding ist gar nicht mal schlecht, es sind Stöcke, Tragegurt und Stimmschlüssel dabei, der Kessel ist CNC-gefräst und dadurch gleichmäßig und gerade gefräst, es sind keine Splitter oder Dreck in der Trommel, die Felle wirken recht seriös. Soundmäßig kann ich nichts dazu sagen, bin Gitarrist und habe das Ding im Suff bestellt, aber es klingt definitiv wie ein Schlaginstrument und nicht wie ein Spielzeug. Lasst euch von dem Junior im Namen nicht täuschen, das Ding ist richtig laut.
