SVS SB3000 Subwoofer Black Ash

I bought 2 of these from a shop not Amazon but feel like adding my voice. My stereo system is high end in a 6x5m room, the subs also form part of my 7.2.4 setup. These subs are wonderful, nicer bass response (not depth) than SVS PB16 Ultra subs (heard both with same speakers). Bass is tight and musical, the PB16 Ultras had ringing that doesnt lend itself quite so well to music imo. They are very powerful, mine are turned down a lot and give an astonishing performance with movies and music, never getting near stressed. They will go way louder than I can stand and well beyond 20Hz depth. The EQ and other features work very well. While they bedded in, the resonant freq was quite high up (over 50Hz) which dropped as time in use passed. The EQ was very useful taming this, and matching them to my speakers. Now they resonate near 20Hz after a year which I no longer EQ, I expect this to drop further. If you are after a powerful, musical sub that can be optimally tuned to your room and system, this can do both without room treatments. Highly recommended.

Only few concerns, doesn't come with Bluetooth wireless streaming adapter for music. and the power cable length is too short, no display on woofer front. Always require remaining connected with mobile app and very limited accessibility to sound features. On the first start, it requires once room gain calibration just through the app itself, after that it just booms all around...Apart from all concerns, this SVS does it job perfectly to make you shake along with house windows.... Still SVS need to add little more features just to have a complete one stop buy product.

Very solid sub no vibration solid punch

The real subwoofers starting from 12" and above. I've tested DynaVoice 8" sub, Exelent craftsmanship- but total lack of bass performance. Returned. Then buyed Yamaha 8" sub SW 200, average bass performance and poore control of the membrane at fast bass sections. The membrane is hitting end positions with huge distorcions. Returned. Then buyed SVS 3000 Micro, 2x8" and 800 Watts. Good bass performance at low level bass, but at about 80+ dB and higher it starts huge distorcions. Absolute disapointment regarding the high price. Returned. All above mantioned was aimed to upgrade factory soundbar B&W on my Philips oled935 tv in the bedroom (15 sqm). After return of 3000 Micro, I decided to try my hometheater's sub SVS SB 2000 Pro, absolute beast in my living room (25 sqm). And finally found the proper upgrade for the bedroom! This way I ordered SVS SB 3000 for my hometheater set. This sub is peforming much powerfull and confident compared to SB 2000. The bass is a bit slower, but the power increase is noteble. Also it goes a bit low under 20Hz. Now I'm feeling the bass vibrations also on the floor. With SB 2000 the vibrations were only trough the sofa. Now if increase volume on my AV receiver above -30 dB the smaller objects in the room starts resonating. With SB 2000 this was not possible even at -15dB. The DSP control and the app are just without competicion. It is absolute comfort to sit in your listening positon and to make all setings via the smartphone. So, maybe after 2-3 months will add more impresions of this greath subwoofer. Absolutley recommend. P.S. My admirations to Amazon for their exelent service.

Ho inserito questo sub in un grande salone con un impianto pretenzioso che utilizzo sia per musica, in configurazione 2 canali + sub, sia per video in configurazione 7.1 Grazie anche alla app per smartphone grandiosa che consente settaggi mentre si ascolta, si è subito integrato strabene, in sistesi la sua forza è l'estensione verso il basso e il basso assolutamente frenato. La grande orchestra ora è davvero grande, il basso elettrico realistico. Beh poi quando deve tirar fuori muscolosità mica si tira indietro. Direi che riesce a suonare dando un apporto importante integrandosi in modo da non farsi notare. Lo noti, eccome, se lo spegni mentre l'impianto suona !

Zumindest soweit ich das beurteilen kann. Die Einstellungsmöglichkeiten über die App sind mehr als ausreichend. Am Anfang hatte ich ein heftiges Brummen, nachdem ich am Audio-Kabel vorbeigelaufen bin. Das konnte ich nur durch Ausschalten “beheben”. Nachdem ich das Audio-Kabel durch ein vernünftiges ausgetauscht hatte, ist das nicht mehr passiert!
