Has anyone had an issue with the inside of the cushion (where the air is in) not staying in place? it gathers up and doesn't stay flat.

It may help keep the air chamber of your Back Vitalizer stay flat if you could avoid “slipping” on it, e.g. dragging a chair around while sitting on your Back Vitalizer over it, because as a support medium, air has a great compressive loading capacity, but is not good at taking any shearing stress or load… Hope that this tip helps?

Can this be deflated and folded to put in a daypack?

Yes, you can easily deflate the air and the Back Vitalizer can be folded in half, tri fold or even into a quarter of its size or rolled! It's very compact so you can fit it into your daypack, purse, backpack, laptop bag, luggage, etc so you can carry it and use wherever you are. The inflation valve allows you to quickly inflate it again with air when you are ready to use it. Very durable with a 3 year warranty.
