If you’re thinking of buying these, “add to cart”! We have a neurodivergent child who likes to help cook with us. We do all we can to keep little hands and fingers safe. These definitely do the trick! They are visually pleasing - nice bold and bright colors in a sturdy plastic that is easy to clean. Material is sturdy enough that it wont slip out of little hands. Again, we try and buy things for him and his sensory issues. So, the colors of these were a big hit. They are not too heavy, not too light. Definitely lighter than your conventional knife set. They are sharp enough to cut, slice and chop while somehow not being sharp enough to pierce skin. We have used these multiple times without issue. I feel for the price, they are definitely worth it. Definitely feel they can hold their own against conventional knives. Truth be told, we use these for the most part now.

Love the colors and the amount of knifes you get for your money they could be a little more durable but perfect for cutting strawberries, bananas, gapes, mainly any soft fruit or vegetables which is perfect for early learns he's just happy cutting he's own berries honestly

My class love working with these knifes!!! They was so amazed at how good they cut even through hard food like potatoes carrots and even cantaloupe !!! They are safe and easy to clean !! A true game changer… 🎉🥰

These are excellent for little kids. I have a 3- and 4-year-old, and these knives are just right for them. They’re not “play” knives—these are sharp enough to cut through veggies and other foods. They’re about the same size as a regular knife, but the handles are perfectly sized for little hands. The bright colors make them fun and appealing to kids—my daughter always says, “I want the pink one!”

My 6 1/2 year old loved the colors, and I liked them for an introduction to basic knife use/safety. However, it’s hard to teach the proper way of holding a knife with these, and ultimately, they could teach poor knife form/cutting technique (how to hold and cut with a knife). Generally, they are great for small hands and getting an idea for what it takes to cut things, but overall, I could take them or leave them.

I bought these knives for my 3 & 5 year old to use. They have been doing quite well with them. They are sharp enough to get the job done without any risk/danger to the kids. The handles are not really comfortable so make them a bit hard to hold but considering the kids only last about 5 minutes in the kitchen, its not a huge deal.

My daughter loves them. She is excited about the colours and gets excited to use them each time. I have only hand washed them so far. I do like how easy they are to clean.

I love having safe knives that work in my home. Knowing my child can use them safely is a relief. Doesn’t mean don’t watch them using of course however they work great and the colours are lovely
